    Pest and Hygiene Assistant (6 months Fixed Term Contract)

    Description

    • Assisting with service and cleaning of Pest Control and Hygiene equipment.
    • Servicing of hygiene units (Airfresh / Quadrasan / Seat wipe units / Hot air dryers).
    • Germicidal Deep cleaning of toilets, washbasins, urinals.
    • Sanitary / Fem bin Service and Cleaning.
    • Appearance mat cleaning services.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Previous Germicidal Deep cleaning/Hygiene Washroom experience essential
    • Able to work a flexible time schedule and willing to work over weekends
    • MUST have a valid driver’s license
    • Previous experience in Pest Control and Hygiene Industry (advantageous)
    • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
    • High work standards, energetic and driven
    • Good communication skills
    • Attention to detail.

    Site Manager Trainee (6 Months Fixed Term contract)

    Description

    The purpose of this role is to create a contingency plan in our operations business unit. Appointing external candidates that will be on a dedicated training plan, with the end goal of being a roaming resource available to stand in temporarily where needed. Refer to the job profile for the site manager and Site Supervisor and the training plans for clear responsibilities and milestones to qualify as a stand in resource. This individual would be required to relief staff in unforeseen events where the Site Manager is not present due to leave, training and other events.

    Summary of responsibilities upon successful completion of the programme: 

    • Lead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site, daily. 
    • Manage and achieve the Budgeted Man-hours and Purchases in their Section. 
    • Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to all statutory safety regulations. 
    • Manage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff. 
    • Responsible for all Operational activities in their section, including operational problem solving. 
    • Maintain Customer relationship; meet Customer expectations and eliminate plant damage & downtime. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12.  
    • High-Quality administrative skills required. 
    • Be flexible to work at various sites as requested on short notice. 
    • Previous Team Management Experience.
    • Management and delegation of tasks.
    • Work experience in an operations environment.

    Site Supervisor - Boksburg

    Description

    Purpose is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to required hygiene standards. Responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals in a safe manner. Responsible for site safety and making sure that teams perform tasks timeously.

    Marketing Coordinator - Cape Town

    Role overview:

    As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both internal and external marketing activities. This position offers an opportunity to assist in various tasks related to information coordination, sales support, event coordination, digital media activities, web development, design guidance, and more. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure the effective implementation of branding strategies and the maintenance of brand consistency across all channels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •     Assist brand manager in coordinating information flow across departments to align

    Pest Control & Hygiene Technician - Eastern Cape

    Description

    Ecowize is looking for an experienced and certified Pest Control Technician to join the Pest Control and Hygiene Division in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

    The purpose of this role is to determine the best treatment regarding pest control and ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to the customer. 

    The Pest Control Technician must ensure that all services are planned and completed in line with the customer agreements signed. The successful incumbent will be accountable and responsible for equipment and consumables used to complete the services.

    • You will be responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects, rodents and other pests.
    • Then determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them.
    • Spray chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.
    • Identify invading pests, including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs.
    • Set mechanical traps and place bait. Remove dead rodents after extermination. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • P-Registration with Department of Agriculture.
    • Pest Control Operator experience servicing clients in the Food production industry is essential.
    • Previous experience with and knowledge of industry auditing standards (e.g AIB, IBL, BRC, YUM etc)
    • Able to work flexible hours and overtime.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.

    • Good understanding and knowledge of the Pest Control Industry and service orientated.
    • Logical thinker as well as strategic and organized.
