    Issuing Attendant

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • To provide exceptional customer service by accurately issuing, maintaining, and recording company products at customer sites, ensuring their proper operation in surface operations. The Issuing Attendant is responsible for the precise and timely issuance, documentation, and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Grade 12 and certification in inventory/warehousing (Preferred)
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management and/or warehousing, preferably in a mining environment
    • Computer literate, good communication and report writing skills
    • Willing to work on a mine and travel when required

    Responsibilities

    • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to authorized personnel as per requisition orders.
    • Maintain accurate records of issued items, including quantity, description, and recipient details
    • Regularly monitor stock levels and inform the Inventory Supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
    • Ensure that the correct stock is ordered as soon as possible.
    • Ensure all issued materials and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations.
    • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe and working condition.
    • Thoroughly test equipment to analyse faults and ensure it conforms to specifications.
    • Ensure that the system components comply with mine standards and procedures.
    • Assist in receiving deliveries, inspecting for accuracy, and updating inventory records.
    • Generate and submit regular reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and any discrepancies.
    • Compile reports for audits, feedback, and analysis.
    • Provide feedback on failures and suggested improvements to the Manager.
    • Provide excellent customer service to mine site personnel, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Maintain a clean and organized issuing area to ensure efficient and safe operations.

    Site Supervisor

    Purpose:

    • To oversee and manage on-site activities at our mining operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and mining operations, ensuring that all electronic systems and equipment function efficiently and safely. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating with various teams, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality customer service by installing and maintaining systems to ensure optimal operation.

    Education, experience, and competencies: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, and/or Electrical Trade (Red seal)
    • 3-5 years of experience in a technician role within the mining industry.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role (advantage)
    • Computer literate in relevant software and tools for project management and reporting.
    • Own Transport, valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to remote mining sites as required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the teams on site.
    • Ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment used in mining operations.
    • Conduct site and system surveys prior to installation and quoting to ensure standards and timelines are met.
    • Minimize damage to installed equipment through careful placement of units.
    • Ensure wiring and installation comply electrically and mechanically.
    • Continuously seek better placement of equipment to improve range and coverage of the warning field.
    • Conduct site visits to assess and promptly fix problems.
    • Ensure the team responds quickly to reported failures and carries out timely repairs.
    • Supervise the team to thoroughly test equipment, analyse faults, and ensure conformance to installation manual specifications.
    • Ensure repairs and parts are ordered promptly to rectify faults.
    • Provide written feedback on failures and suggested improvements to the Account Manager.
    • Compile reports for audits requested by mines and complete required administration (service reports, timesheets, and COCs).
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and systems to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
    • Coordinate with management to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, equipment logs, and maintenance records.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electronic systems and equipment.
    • Provide training and support to site personnel on the proper use and maintenance of electronic systems.
    • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
    • Participate in site meetings and provide regular updates to management on project progress and any issues that arise.

    Technical Document Writer

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Document Writer to create, manage, and maintain comprehensive documentation for our electronic manufacturing products and processes. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent writing skills, and experience in the electronic manufacturing or related industry. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical experts to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly materials.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Qualification in Electronics/Electronic Engineering/ S3/S4 or related
    • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, ideally in electronic manufacturing or a closely related industry.
    • Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes, components, or systems.
    • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise content.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electronic manufacturing (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.) is an advantage.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, product specifications, process documents, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, QA teams) to gather information, understand product details, and clarify technical concepts.
    • Research and review product specifications, schematics, and engineering documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
    • Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product changes, process improvements, or regulatory requirements.
    • Follow company and industry standards to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy in documentation.
    • Organize, format, and structure documents to enhance readability, accessibility, and ease of use.
    • Assist in the development of training materials, FAQs, and other support content as needed.
    • Ensure all documentation meets compliance standards for regulatory and quality control purposes.

    Software Technician

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • Responsible for maintaining and optimizing the software systems critical to mining operations.
    • This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
    • The Software Technician will assist the Account Manager with rolling out, troubleshooting, and maintaining software at client premises.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric/Grade 12 preferably with Mathematics and Science
    • National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Trade – advantage)
    • Certifications in A+, N+ and S+
    • 2 years 'experience in software support, preferably in a mining environment.
    • Own Transport and valid driver’s license (willing to travel and work overtime)

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain and provide 1stline support for all Field Technician tablets on site
    • BEAMS site administration and infrastructure maintenance
    • Provide weekly BEAMS reports for Technical Superintendent and Account Manager
    • Analysis of raw data and providing findings report to Technical Superintendent
    • On-site Network troubleshooting and maintenance
    • Ability to configure and troubleshoot Routers
    • Provide remote support using remote software like Team Viewer and AnyDesk
    • Assist in reviewing, maintaining, and recommending improvements to Systems
    • Performance routine maintenance.
    • Ensure upgrades and repairs on lamproom test stations, pocket tag test stations & lamproom integrations
    • Roll out, troubleshoot and maintain software
    • Provide Incident reports to Technical Superintendent
    • Participate in testing and validation of proximity detection systems in simulated and Field environments
    • Provide training and support for clients on software functionalities
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals
