Location of the hospital is Mamoudzou.

• Rotations will be 4 weeks on duty (onsite) followed by 4 weeks off duty (at home)
• 12hrs shifts will apply (extremely busy ER with +/- 300 patients per day)
• Initial contract will be for one year with a view to extend
• Accommodation will be an apartment provided by the client
• Meals are not included, and therefore a per diem will apply.
• A daily rate in USdollars is offered which applies to on duty days only.
• Economy flights, along with all the necessary remote site insurances are included.

Criteria to apply:

• Must be medically registered as a doctor within country of origin
• Must hold a specialization diploma in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Medicine
• Have proven experience working within an Emergency Department
• Hold a valid ACLS (AHA)
• Hold a valid ITLS or PHTLS or ATLS
• Be fluent in French - written and orally
• Have a good command of the English language
• Be fully COVID vaccinated
• Hold a valid passport
• Be available to potentially travel to site in the next 3 months

Medical Doctors: Criteria to apply:

• Be medically registered in country of origin/residence
• Minimum of 5 years' post grad experience with some within an ER or clinic setting
• Hold a valid BOSIET or FOET (Opito approved)
• Hold a valid ACLS (AHA certified)
• Hold a valid ITLS or PHTLS or ATLS
• Be COVID vaccinated
• Hold a valid passport

ALS / EMT-P Paramedic: Criteria to apply:

• Be medically registered in country of origin/residence
• Minimum of 3 years' post qualification required
• Hold a valid BOSIET or FOET (Opito approved)
• Hold a valid ACLS (AHA certified)
• Hold a valid ITLS or PHTLS or ATLS
• Be COVID vaccinated
• Hold a valid passport

Nurses: Criteria to apply:

• Be medically registered in country of origin/residence
• Minimum of  3years' post qualification experience with some within an ER or clinic setting
• Tertiary certificate in Critical Care, ICU, Emergency is highly desirable
• Hold a valid BOSIET or FOET (Opito approved)
• Hold a valid ACLS (AHA certified)
• Hold a valid ITLS or PHTLS or ATLS
• Be COVID vaccinated
• Hold a valid passport

• International SOS is looking to hear from nurses who are currently residing in Dubai, are holders of a European passport, and who would be interested in becoming a part-time Escort Nurse for International SOS' Assistance Centre based in Dubai.
• Basically, this would mean that your approach must be flexible in terms of when you may be contacted and that you would have a current permanent or part-time nurse role which would permit you to take time off as and when duty calls.  
• This position will provide Dubai based nurses with the opportunity to earn additional AED on an ad-hoc basis.

Selected candidates will receive:

• a one year "on demand" flexible agreement/contract with International SOS
• For each assignment will receive a once off activation fee along with an hourly rate paid in AED.

Position details follow:

OFFSHORE positions

• These are based on a work schedule of 5 weeks offshore, followed by 2 weeks onshore, followed by 3 weeks off duty. 
• Work days per calendar year equate to approximately 231 on duty days
• Accommodation is provided
• Two economy flight tickets home per year are provided.
• Remuneration will be paid in local currency, with a set monthly payment applied.  
• Opportunity to work off duty is an option.
• Required trainings such as ACLS, ITLS and BOSIET will be paid for by the company based on the suitability of each applicant.

Accommodation:

Will vary per client, however will be comprise one of the below:

• Double Occupancy room
• Rented flats with cooking facilities / washer / dryer
• Wi-Fi in some accommodations.

Criteria to apply:

• Previous working experience of minimum 2 years in the Middle East is highly desirable (includes Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Cyprus, Turkey and GCC)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in either a clinical or hospital environment is required.  3 years of which must be in an ER or ICU or CC environment.
• Be medically registered in country of origin or other.
• Speak good English
• Be the holder of valid certifications such as ACLS, ITLS and for offshore BOSIET would be beneficial
• Hold a valid passport
• Be fully COVID vaccinated (as per client requirements)
