    Chemical Regulations Manager - Global

    What you can expect
      
    The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring chemical regulations globally and advocating as necessary to support the businesses success. Duties will include the following:

    •     Assessing impact of chemical regulations to business and communicating
    •     Developing processes to ensure compliance with chemical regulations that are relevant to the ECMS business
    •     Coordinating and supporting in master data standardization and process harmonization among all regions and production sites
    •     Performing global notifications and registrations to assure compliance and commercial success in relevant countries
    •     Coordinating and performing chemical regulations reporting, as necessary, globally
    •     Supporting EHS master data quality improvement, including support for reference substances
    •     Development of appropriate training for business functions to understand global chemical regulations and requirements

    What we expect

    •     Bachelor’s degree or higher in Natural Sciences, Chemistry preferred
    •     Minimum 6 - 10 years of professional experience in Chemical or Product Regulations
    •     Demonstrating expertise in global regulations as well as implementation of compliance processes in ERP System
    •     Leading the global chemical regulations team and managing relevant external resources
    •     Being able to collaborate for achievement, communicate effectively and embrace diversity

    Shift Leader - Port Elizabeth

    What you can expect

    • The incumbent will be responsible for managing the shift Production Department and co-ordinating its interaction with other departments to achieve customer, company requirements with respect to productivity, QHE&S, delivery and cost. Duties will include the following:
    •   Ensuring departmental objectives are set and cascaded to the entire production shift
    •     Ensuring the effective utilization of all resources in the production shift
    •     Reviewing progress against the daily production plan and implementing contingencies, where necessary to achieve operational targets
    •     Ensuring that objectives and targets are measured and tracked to determine the trends 
    •     Ensuring that employees are motivated to achieve operational targets
    •     Identifying and actioning employee development and training needs
    •     Providing training to all relevant employees on improved or newly developed work instructions to ensure compliance to standards
    •     Ensuring that departmental Quality and Safety standards are adhered to, maintained and improved continuously throughout the plant
    •     Managing systems applicable to the production area including SAP transactions, Stock accuracy, AIMS, Compliant Pro, TPM, AE.net and Power-Bi, LCO, and PLT submission
    •     Creating and maintaining an environment which fosters continuous improvement in key focus areas using best practice and lean principles
    •     Initiating investigations of process and operational deviations, engaging expertise and staff, using various problem-solving techniques, reviewing data and making  prompt decisions to correct any such deviations
    •     Ensuring that the maintenance plans and repairs are conducted to an acceptable standard during a shift
    •     Working according to Integrated (Environmental and Quality) Management System requirements
    •     Ensuring that the final production schedule for all production lines, both Slurry Prep and Coating is available
    •     Managing the off-line and other off-line related activities during a shift

    What we expect

    •   Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a production/manufacturing environment in the Automotive industry
    •     3 year Production Management or Technical tertiary qualification, and preferably a post-graduate qualification
    •     Experience in a leadership role is required and managing a production business unit operating on a continuous shift basis is advantageous

    MRP Analyst - Port Elizabeth

    What you can expect

    • The incumbent will be responsible for managing the MRP system to ensure that all materials required for the Production Plan are available on time, maintenance of raw material stock levels at appropriate levels and ensuring that all transport of materials is kept within budget, the procurement tasks relating to raw materials and logistics services. Duties will include the following:
    •  Generating and managing Purchase Orders (PO’s) for Raw Materials and Raw Substrates purchasing in line with forecast and MRP requirement
    •     Generating and managing POs for all Transportation and Freight Service Providers
    •     Maintaining updated SAP information with Supplier PO feedback and confirmations 
    •     Generating Monthly reports, statistics and documentation relating to PO creation. PO maintenance aligned with defined KPI’s
    •     Developing and maintaining updated shipping information on SAP that will include but not be limited to:
    • Shipping information ex transportation service providers
    • Shipping status of all in-transit inventory (inbound and outbound)
    • Confirm quantities being shipped
    •     Liaising with nominated European Supply Chain members and updating local shipping information  for shipments (goods and services) from CCE inter-company locations
    •     Coordinating and ensuring that ETD, ETA and IPO dates, stipulated per the PO, are met by transportation providers and customer processes
    •    Providing regular updates regarding any shipment changes to MRP team, Production Planning and Warehouse teams on status of inbound shipments
    •    Coordinating and planning of inbound and outbound container movement to and from site to avoid demurrage cost risk and optimizing container handling on site
    •     Ensuring that all transportation arrangements are compliant with the customs regulations and requirements
    •    Ensuring that raw material inventory levels per inventory category to include open action items per department, in order to maintain inventory evolution levels per specified budget / forecast / objective
    •     Responsible for procurement relating to raw materials, raw substrates and key communication with global raw material buyers
    •     Responsible for all procurement relating to Logistics services
    •     An above average focus on quality and quality systems is vital
    •     Reporting and communicating between departments on material changes / deviations of products produced, packaging etc
    •     Confirming Fluctuations and discussing / confirmed quantities with CSC’s / Scheduling

    What we expect

    •  Minimum of 5 years experience in MRP / Planning, preferable in Manufacturing environment
    •     National Diploma or a degree in Purchasing Management or equivalent and/or Transport / Logistics, Supply Chain Management
    •     Experience in Stock Management, HAZCHEM and Chemical Handling
    •     Inventory Management – In depth knowledge of the financial implications of Stock Management required
    •     HSE and ISO knowledge advantageous
