Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2-4 years Automotive industry experience.
• Btech / Batchelor’s degree in Engineering, electrical or mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Technical Proficient in Microsoft office, Ladder Logic – Siemens Step 7; Siemens TIA; Allen Bradley Rockwell.
• Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Requires a broad knowledge of controls and mechanisms. Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, design, and optimization of systems.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and planning skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment, which includes being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating in a proactive manner in all team events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:     

• Performing and documenting control system testing, design and develop components, troubleshooting issues with control systems.
• Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
• Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
• Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency.
• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
• Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.

Qualifications & Experiences 

• The ideal candidate for the role will have -
•  Degree qualified or substantial relevant experience
•  Materials Planning and Logistics experience of min 5years
•  Exceptional analytical skills when managing complexity and multiple variables
•  Advanced excel skills this will include 
•  Experience working in manufacturing. Understanding of processes, issues and industry practice in demand & availability planning
•  Warehousing/ Distribution experience 
•  Strong relationship building skills
•  Able to lead and inspire a team
•  Minimum 5 years' experience in management role
•  Able to operate and make the right decisions at pace

Job Description:

• Working closely with the wider team, the materials planning and logistics manager will own their end to end operational plan.
• From inbound product & material, through production and out to delivery to their global customer base.
• Working within their complex, global supply chain, you will provide for delivery to very short lead-times, while minimising waste and maximising sales opportunities in a time-critical industry.
• The roles and responsibilities of the role -
• Lead a small team.
• Develop relationship with Customer Purchasing team to establish good relations
• Prepare an accurate demand forecast for all Inventory levels
• Work with various cross functional teams on projects such as new product launches, line extensions, product discontinuations
• Responsible to monitor and maintain the accuracy of the planning parameters and master data
• Preparing and presenting monthly reports - fulfilment, Inventory, Demand & Forecast
• Setting planning rules, Kanban levels and Safety stock targets
