    Digital Editor - Cape Town

    Your duties on the food production brand will include:

    • Develop a content strategy, including objectives and focus areas based on reports and insights provided by the Business Intelligence team
    • Create social media content plans that are in line with the client’s objectives and strategy, and that keep current trends in mind
    • Oversee production of all videos, imagery and photography, ensuring a high standard of delivery
    • Write all copy and post on social media platforms
    • Create a paid media strategy, with support from the Business Intelligence Team
    • Create paid social media ads, including managing the paid media budget
    • Proactively identify and solve problems to ensure client expectations are met
    • Foster good relationships with clients
    • Keeping abreast of social media changes and trends

    Running the healthcare podcast will involve:

    • Lead brainstorming meetings to identify new podcast topics and present these to client
    • Together with the Senior Editor, identify and liaise with guests for each episode
    • Brief podcast guests, hosts and production team
    • Oversee production of all podcasts and brief the editing team
    • Ensure a high standard of delivery on each episode/series

    What you should have:

    • At least five years’ experience as a digital editor within a content marketing or similar agency environment.
    • Knowledge and experience working on social media platforms, primarily Instagram, Facebook and TikTok (although other platforms will be a bonus).
    • Knowledge and experience in running paid social media campaigns on Ads Manager.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining the highest standard of work.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to apply insights to strategy to grow the brands.
    • Experience in influencer marketing would be a bonus.
    • Experience with social media management tools would be a bonus.
    • Experience with Trello and Monday.com would be a bonus.

    Multimedia Designer- WW Taste

    What the role entails:

    • Proficient in both print and digital media
    • Design editorial posts for the social channels to drive engagement
    • Design digital assets for the primary client and advertisers eg. web banners, newsletter assets
    • Design templates for web as required and to achieve the best possible user experience
    • Craft animations and moving content for social
    • Ability to work to a brief
    • Must work within the CI of respective brands
    • Support the Group Art Director in delivery of all briefed work
    • All work to be beautifully crafted
    • Comfortable with receiving feedback and recommendations
    • Brainstorm content and design concepts with the TASTE team
    • Attend planning and production meetings
    • Proficient in the latest software and confident working on a Mac
    • Prepare assets for archiving purposes, internal (AZURE) as well as for client (DAM) with the assistance of the production team 
    • Undertake to complete the relevant training for career development eg. animation, motion graphics

    What you will require:

    • Degree or equivalent in design
    • 3+ years’ experience working in the design field, preferably with blue chip clients
    • At least 2 years’ experience working in online media
    • Demonstrable experience with UX, newsletters, web & social design
