    Inventory Processor (Gqeberha)

    Description

    • To manage the Order-to-Cash process, including customer forecasting, sales order processing, inventory management for contract manufactured finished products, invoicing, and customer documentation. The role ensures accurate SAP transactions, and on-time deliveries through effective coordination with internal teams.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process for non-interfaced customers, including customer forecasting, purchase order goods receipting, sales order processing, and inventory transactions in SAP.
    • Ensure accurate and timely order processing, stock allocation, order release, invoicing, and customer collections.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular reconciliations, stock adjustments, and proactive management of expiry risks and blocked stock.
    • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Distribution, Finance, and Customer teams to ensure uninterrupted product supply and on-time delivery.
    • Maintain accurate customer and transaction master data within SAP.
    • Prepare, validate, and distribute customer status reports and documentation, including invoices, certificates, packing lists, and inventory reports.
    • Track, investigate, and resolve supply chain, inventory, and customer service issues to minimise business risk and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and audit expectations.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support SOP development, and promote Right First Time (RFT) transaction accuracy.
    • Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to forecasting, order management, inventory accuracy, documentation accuracy, customer service, and operational compliance.

    Requirements
    Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

    Experience: 

    • 3–5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, a relevant field or Pharma.
    • ERP and inventory management experience required.
    • Pharmaceutical experience would be an advantage.

    Graphic Designer Graduate (Durban North)

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • Aspen is looking for a highly talented Graphic Designer to join the Group Communications team as a Group Communications Graduate that will provide support to the entire Group. This Graduate role will support the Group Communications Manager and wider Group Communications team by creating visual concepts, through use of computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the desired audience. In addition, the role will also assist with digital design production and basic technical updates for Aspen’s websites and internal intranet pages, ensuring content is on-brand, user-friendly and accurately implemented. No previous work experience is required; relevant internship/portfolio experience would be advantageous.

    Group Legal Counsel: IP (Kwazulu Natal)

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This position is responsible for the accurate and timely management, maintenance, renewal and enforcement of Aspen's global intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, domain names and related IP rights, and provides legal and commercial support on portfolio management, licensing, transactions, disputes, compliance, risk management and associated cross-functional initiatives.
    • The level of appointment, degree of independence, complexity of work and scope of accountability will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience and demonstrated capability. Internal note, with reference to the Group Legal Roles & Career Progression Framework.

    KEY PERFROMANCE AREAS:

    • Research and analyse international trademark search results and prepare accurate, clear written opinions on trademark availability for use and registration, enabling the relevant affiliate to make informed commercial decisions aligned with Group strategy.
    • Manage the global Aspen trademark portfolio, aligned with Group strategy, including the filing, prosecution, maintenance and renewal of Aspen trademarks, as well as the accuracy and integrity of the IP database and records.
    • Support the protection and administration of other IP rights, including domain-name registrations, renewals, transfers, objections and disputes, and matters relating to copyright and registered designs.
    • Provide researched opinions on IP-related matters, commensurate with the level of appointment and based on applicable law, the business context and relevant industry experience.
    • Draft, analyse and advise on IP agreements and clauses, including inbound and outbound IP licensing arrangements, and provide transactional support to Group affiliates on acquisitions and divestments involving registered and unregistered IP rights, including reviewing IP rights audits for legal due diligence purposes.
    • Monitor international watch notices and relevant digital and social media channels; identify and investigate risks, including misuse of Aspen trademarks or other IP; and advise on appropriate protection and enforcement action. Manage assigned contentious or litigious trademarks and related IP matters diligently and in accordance with applicable Aspen and Group Legal policies and procedures.
    • Monitor, research and report on new and amended trademarks and broader IP laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions; assess potential impact on Aspen’s IP portfolio; and recommend proportionate risk mitigation.
    • The diligent management of all assigned contentious or litigious trademark matters, aligned with the applicable Aspen and Group Legal policies and procedures.
    • Monitor, research, and report on new and amended trademarks and/or IP-related legislation and regulations in relevant jurisdictions, advising on the impact of such legislation on Aspen’s Intellectual Property Portfolio, highlighting any potential risk, and providing recommendations on how to mitigate such risks.
    • Meaningfully contribute to and deliver ancillary legal work and cross-functional projects within Group Legal.
    • Meet or exceed the Group Legal business unit KPIs agreed by the Group Executive: Legal with Aspen executive leadership.
    • Adopt and comply with Group Legal ways of working, including the Aspen Values and the honest application of the personal Insights® profile, or a similar tool provided by an Aspen Group service provider, to enhance interpersonal effectiveness.
    • Develop and improve IP precedents, templates and legal opinions.

    Requirements
    FORMAL QUALIFICATION:

    • Legal Degree (preferably LLB).
    • Science qualification (BPharm and/or BSc) an advantage but not a requirement.
    • Admitted Attorney of the Republic of South Africa.
    • Postgraduate IP or trademark practitioner qualification preferable.
    • Membership of an appropriate professional body, where applicable.

    SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND REGISTRATION:

    • Indicative 5 - 10 years Post-Admission Experience, including relevant IP experience.

    Group Legal Counsel: M&A & Corporate (Kwazulu Natal)

    JOB PURPOSE:

    General Assistant (East London)

    OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

    • Responsible for preparing, cleaning, and inspecting work areas and equipment, handling and staging raw materials, sampling work areas and equipment for potential contamination, sanitising drains and pipes to prevent contamination, and completing related administrative tasks.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Operational Support

    Group Finance Manager – FP&A (Durban North)

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • To provide Group-level financial planning, oversight and performance analysis across Aspen’s business units and group functions. The role will ensure a partnership between the sites and Group leadership to strengthen financial performance, planning, working capital, costing, investment decisions, reporting accuracy and governance, while driving consistent finance practices across all sites. Provide support to the Senior Group Finance Executive on strategic initiatives, as required.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    Business financial performance management and support

    • Monitor and evaluate the financial performance across business units and functions.
    • Identify material performance risks, opportunities, trends and corrective actions.
    • Provide clear financial insight into revenue, margin, costs, profitability, working capital, operational efficiency and value creation.
    • Challenge assumptions and support management decisions through evidence-based analysis and scenario modelling.
    • Participate in relevant business performance and strategic decision-making forums.

    Planning, forecasting and long-term analysis

    • Coordinate and review annual budgets, forecasts and five-year financial plans.
    • Ensure that financial plans align with Group objectives and site business strategies.

    Reporting and financial oversight

    • Identify opportunities to integrate, standardise, simplify and automate FP&A processes, models, systems and reporting.
    • Improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of planning, forecasting and management reporting across the Group.
    • Develop common definitions, templates, methodologies and performance measures where appropriate.
    • Support Tax, Treasury, IT, Group Reporting and other relevant functions on cross-functional initiatives.

    Requirements
    FORMAL QUALIFICATION:

    • Chartered Accountant, CA(SA), or an appropriate equivalent professional finance qualification.
    • SAICA member, or an appropriate finance professional body membership
    • Post-qualification experience in financial management, financial planning and analysis or operational finance of at least 5-years

    SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:

    • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, performance management, management reporting and business partnering.
    • Experience translating financial and operational data into clear insights, recommendations and actions for senior management.
