Senior Development Engineer (Customer Operations/AI Agents)

    • We’re looking for a senior engineer to help build and scale the AI agents behind our Sales and Customer Service teams. These agents handle real conversations with real customers every day, answering questions, qualifying leads, quoting moves and resolving issues across phone, chat and messaging.
    • You’ll own them end to end, from designing how they reason and which tools and data they can use, to the evaluation, guardrails and observability that keep them accurate, on-brand and safe in production.
    • You’ll work closely with our Sales and CS leaders and the agents who use these tools on the front line, so you can see the impact of your work in conversion, response times and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to move LLM-powered systems past the demo stage and into something thousands of customers rely on.

    How our engineering teams deliver

    • We're product-led and agile. Most teams run Scrum with two-week sprints, but we care far more about outcomes than rituals. Engineers are trusted to challenge assumptions, adapt processes, and ship things that matter.

Senior engineers here are not heads-down implementers. You'll:

    • Work closely with product, data, and commercial stakeholders
    • Influence technical direction and architectural decisions
    • Balance speed with long-term sustainability
    • Regularly ship meaningful improvements to production

    Our technology

    • We're pragmatic and cloud-first, running on AWS, with the flexibility to choose the right tool for the job:
    • Exploring: Go, Rust, React, Node.js
    • Core stack: Python, Vue.js & Nuxt, TypeScript
    • Legacy (retiring where we can): Java, PHP, Angular
    • You don't need experience in everything, we value strong fundamentals and good engineering judgement over keyword matching.

    What you'll be doing

    • Designing, building, and operating production-grade systems that scale
    • Tackling complex technical challenges across backend, infrastructure, data flows, and AI/ML pipelines
    • Writing clean, pragmatic, well-tested code with long-term maintainability in mind
    • Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape solutions
    • Championing testing, observability, and quality improvements
    • Mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across the team

You'll thrive here if you have

    • Experience in a scale-up or fast-growing product environment
    • Strong backend engineering skills (Go, Java, Python, or similar)
    • A solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance
    • Experience with CI/CD, modern deployment practices, and cloud infrastructure
    • Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
    • A bias toward action — shipping value quickly, then iterating
    • A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence beyond your code
    • Bonus: exposure to AI/ML systems, marketplaces, logistics, pricing, or e-commerce

    Operations Manager - Supply, France

    • We’re looking for a hands on manager to focus on customers and drivers in France. You’ll lead our Transport Partners (TP’s) operations team owning everything from recruiting and onboarding our TP’s to keeping the whole allocation engine (making sure every customer who has booked a job with us, has a driver assigned to deliver it) running like clockwork.
    • You’ll be the crucial link between the frontline and senior leadership, and the person who makes sure France has the coverage it needs, every single day.

    We operate at pace:

    • Priorities change quickly
    • Multiple initiatives run in parallel
    • New campaigns and structures launch regularly
    • Comfort with ambiguity and constant change is essential.
    • This role is intentionally not for everyone. This role is NOT:
    • A strategy-only leadership seat.
    • A sit behind reports job, you will jump in and show your team how its done
    • A role where you inherit a perfect team and just maintain it - you drive high performance
    • A place to hide behind dashboards instead of fixing root causes
    • A role to avoid the difficult coversations, hard targets, tough feedback or accountability

This role is for you if…

    • You thrive under pressure and like tough targets.
    • You’re comfortable being in the detail (calls, coaching, blockers) and also building the system.
    • You bring pace and ownership, you don’t need chasing.
    • You lead with warmth and edge: you care, but you don’t tolerate low standards.

    What you’ll be doing:

Partner lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, retention, compliance

    • Recruit TPs against a monthly accreditation target, prioritising the vehicle types and geographies where we need coverage most.
    • Own the signup-to-first-job funnel and clear the blockers causing drop-off running 30/60/90 day early-life management along the way.
    • Get partners set up and self-sufficient on our portal and app: find, bid, accept, complete, invoice.
    • Keep TP records and compliance docs watertight, and act fast on anyone who falls short.
    • Own active TP numbers and churn, running a segmented contact strategy (top performers, developing, at-risk, dormant) that wins people back.
    • Own cancellation rate, on-time performance and feedback scores, with a clear coach-warn-suspend-offboard process behind it.

    Allocations & platform engagement

    • Match the right TP to the right job, fast and cost-effectively, balancing speed against margin.
    • Get on the phone and negotiate rates as close to the original as possible.
    • Run live availability lists; TPs, vehicles, locations, routes, rates, margins and keep jobs on track.
    • Own the hard-to-cover queue: flag and reprice before jobs become customer failures, and step in on the complex, multi-drop, high-value stuff.
    • Push TPs to win work themselves through the portal and app, cutting down what needs manual allocation.
    • Sort delivery issues fast, for TPs and customers alike, and keep the admin accurate.

    Team leadership

    • Coach and develop your team: objectives, regular feedback, 1:1s, data-led reviews.
    • Run the huddles, set the daily focus, and build a culture people want to be part of.
    • Own staffing plans and shift coverage, keeping an eye on attendance and overtime.
    • Be the escalation point when things get tricky, and handle conflict like a pro.
    • Build the SOPs and training that keep everyone consistent.

    Performance, improvement & reporting

    • Dig into the data to find root causes and cut cost to serve.
    • Own your team’s KPIs and dashboards, and present trends, risks and opportunities with confidence in leadership meetings.
    • Support forecasting, supply-demand modelling and capacity planning.
    • Team up with Product, Tech and Commercial to keep improving the TP experience.

    What you’ll need to succeed:

    • Fluency in French and English (English is our common business language, so you’ll need both)
    • A proven track record in an operations/commercial leadership role with the ability to build and drive high performing teams
    • The ability to learn new things quickly and thrive in fast paced changing environments
    • Commercial instincts, you know how to balance coverage speed, the customer promise, and margin
    • Performance focused with a strong track record of hitting your numbers
    • Strong communication, negotiation and phone-based influencing skills. High EQ, sharp attention to detail
    • Excel and dashboard skills that turn into clean, fast, accurate reporting
    • Strong alignment with our values
    • Happy and able to be based from our offices in the Central Business District 5 days a week

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Contact centre or logistics experience is preferred
    • Experience working with customers in France is advantageous

    Head of Storage

    • We're looking for a commercial operator to join as our Head of Storage who will sit at the sweet spot where sales, service and operations collide, and you'll own all three. This isn't just tracking whether Storage hits its number, you're the reason it does. From the first lead landing in HubSpot to the last box collected, you own the P&L, the team, and the systems that make it all run.
    • Your job is to build a Storage business that scales without falling over. You'll lead a team across sales and ops, turning a growing roster into a unit that owns its numbers, fixes its own problems, and doesn't need chasing.

    What you'll own:

    • The Full Funnel - You own the Storage P&L end to end: revenue, conversion, margin and debt recovery. Not just watching it. Moving it.
    • The Commercial Machine - You drive lead-to-booking conversion, set the targets, and coach the team to hit them. Pricing trade-offs, pipeline health, booking quality — all yours to call.
    • Service That Doesn't Buckle - Onboarding, redelivery, complaints, billing, collections. Every task has an owner, a cadence, an SLA and an escalation path, and you're the one who makes sure that's real, not just written down.
    • A Team That Runs Itself - You recruit, coach and structure the team as it scales. You set the culture by living it. You're the final word when something can't be solved without you.
    • The Data, Properly - You own the reporting hub. You don't wait for someone to explain a dashboard to you, you get in there yourself and find out what's actually going on.

    How we measure success:

    • Conversion: sustained lift in lead-to-booking conversion across the sales team.
    • Growth: Storage revenue and margin against plan.
    • Service: CSAT and SLA adherence on the ops side (reply + resolution within target).
    • Recovery: debt collected / aged-debt reduction against target.
    • Team: retention, ramp time for new hires, and a performance rhythm that runs without firefighting.

This role is for you if:

    • You move between sales coaching, service delivery, escalations and reporting without losing pace and you lead with warmth and clarity.
    • You're a Strategic Practitioner, you can build the process and then get on the floor and prove it works.
    • You thrive on high stakes, aggressive targets and shifting priorities are your playground, not your stress test.
    • You're understand how conversion, pricing, margin and debt recovery connect and you know exactly what levers move conversion, margin and CSAT, and you pull them daily.
    • You lead with presence and ownership. You don't wait for permission to fix what's broken and you don't need to be chased.
    • This role isn't for you if you're looking for:
    • A strategy-only seat with no hands-on-the-keyboard work. A tidy inheritance of perfect processes you can just maintain.
    • A "wait and see" culture. We test, we learn, we move.
    • A place to hide behind a dashboard instead of fixing the broken number underneath it.

    What you'll bring:

    • Proven experience leading a combined sales-and-service operation with real commercial ownership in a high volume, phone based, customer facing role. Bonus points for experience with UK customers.
    • A genuine commercial operator, comfortable owning a P&L and the trade-offs that come with it.
    • A track record leading teams of 10+ across more than one function and coaching the managers, not just the frontline.
    • Serious data fluency across CRM and support tooling (HubSpot, Zoho, Freshdesk or similar), enough to spot a wrong number on sight.
    • A passion for AI and hands on experience deploying AI tools not just using it on a personal level.
    • Battle scars from scaling or fixing a team before, and the discipline to implement simplicity and things that stick so it doesn't fall apart when you're not in the room.

How we'll know you're the one:

    • You can dissect the funnel in your sleep, when conversion drops, you don't say "more training," you know if it's speed-to-lead, a coaching gap, or a pricing confidence problem.
    • You've got a rebuild story, you can tell us about the time you inherited something messy and made it hum.
    • You don't need a map, you're comfortable that the playbook isn't finished yet, and you're the one who gets to write it.
