MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:                                            

• Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate.
• Forklift Driver’s Licence.
• Code 08 (B) Driver’s Licence.

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 6 months practical engineering support/assistance experience in a Mining environment.

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• Responsible for handling components and proper administration as well as maintaining the workshop.
• Identify components, number, and tag components. Load and off-load components for repairs.
• Assist with component quality check, tag returned component for warranty purposes.
• Driving the forklift daily aiding and loading and off-loading components.
• Check all components are clean and plugged to prevent oil leaks.
• Cleans and maintains workshop. Maintains tools.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate with Mathematics.
• Beginners Course in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Certificate: MCSE M Plus A Plus.

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 1 - year Database/Administration experience in a database environment.

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• Administration of application software. Perform all IT related document control, multi- media control and monitoring duties, as well as administration of applications.
• Assist with database backups as and when required.
• Assist with verifying backup correctness and report any backup failures immediately to ensure business continuity always. Assist in maintaining and monitoring of all databases through daily scrutinizing of log files, health and space checks and reporting critical deviations. Assist with database implementation when required.
• Assist with querying all database servers. Assist with maintaining and monitoring critical applications. Assist with implementation of user profiles when required. Assist with file sharing security when required.
• Assist to set-up and maintain database access and securities. Security and file application security. User profile maintenance.
• Assist with user/user profile setup and maintaining access and security. Ensure firstline support for financial and production environment applications.
• Perform periodical user audits and assist the requester by rectifying audit findings. Ensure that all periodic database backups are performed.
• Perform all IT-related document control, and multi- media control and monitoring duties.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 6 months exposure to relevant production process in a plant / operations environment.

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• Ensure effective and efficient operation of the total production process making use of manual operation as and when necessary while maintaining process conditions and monitoring production parameters.
• Operate and control various types of equipment (HM Drum, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps etc.) and machinery. Conduct pre-shift inspection of equipment, machine parts, and/or components of the production line to ensure production flow according to standards within prescribed processes and procedures. Continuously observe / monitor component performance against standards to identify any sub performance / non-conformance or deviations, and report to Supervisor. Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance. Hourly inspections to make sure all equipment is functional.
• Adhere to planned maintenance / production schedules to assist in achieving production throughput. Ensure optimised process flow. Identify constraints and/or troubleshoot operational deviations and communicate to supervisor or line manager. Ensure correct product grade by following grade assurance and control processes.
• Perform lock-out procedure whenever required.
• Perform housekeeping duties whenever required.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 1 year Exposure to relevant production process in a plant / operations environment.

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• To assist Shift Supervisor in the safe operation of the Magnetic Separation Plant. To provide skills and knowledge in process operations to meet production and quality targets. Comply with SHEQ legislation.
• Operate and monitoring magnetic belts and process indicators, perform process equipment troubleshooting and corrective maintenance, Identifying and rectifying operational issues, follow plant and plant emergency procedure, ensure operational activities are aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct continuous inspections of process parameters to ensure product meet specifications. Make necessary adjustments on equipment to align allocated set points, perform manual tasks in and around the Plant, perform routine inspection on fixed plant equipment within the processing areas, perform weekly inspections on process equipment, eg cyclones and valves.
• Perform lockout procedure whenever required.
• Perform housekeeping duties whenever required, washing down work areas, removing dirt and spillages around walkways in the plant.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 10 / Standard 8 Certificate.
• Thermoplastic Welding Competency Certificate or
• Related qualification with Butt and Electrofusion Welding.

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 1 year practical experience on Production exposure in a Plant / Mining environment.

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• Install HDPE pipping by execute assigned tasks in line of trade of Welding of HDPE pipes. This includes examination of detailed drawings to find out work to be completed with correct material and equipment.
• Weld HDPE pipes in line with set parameters and proper procedure for butt and electrofusion welding. Make use of measuring equipment to verify dimensions of material provided against drawings and interpret components. Use allocated resources and personnel to achieve set targets. Use, inspect and maintain operational equipment e.g. HDPE machine. Proper usage of Extrusion hand Gun & Hot Air Guns. Performing work in accordance with relevant safe working procedures. Inspection of pipes around the plant. Install, assemble and weld HDPE pipes. Measuring and marking pipes for cutting. Perform work according to relevant procedures. Ensure mini-risk assessment is done before work commences.
• Using the required PPE for the specific task or work. Using specific tools e.g. pipe cutter.
• Reporting any dangerous conditions immediately to the Supervisor.
