Role Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must hold:

• a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Medical Laboratory Science (BSc MLS) or National Diploma in Medical Technology (Histologyy)
• be registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist in Histology.
• These qualifications ensure that you are equipped with the scientific knowledge and professional standing to perform confidently in a specialised and evolving field. We are looking for individuals with 1–2 years of experience in a pathology laboratory environment. • You bring 5 years of experience in a Cytogenetics laboratory, including the analysis, verification, and sign-out of complex results for haematological malignancies and congenital abnormalities.
