    Store Manager- Pep Cell 4547 Phuthaditjhaba Maluti Crescent (Free State)

    Description
    PURPOSE OF POSITION
    :

    • Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
    • Ensure administrative duties within the store are done according to the company guidelines.
    • Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos - taking responsibility for team training, coaching and performance.

    Planner (FMCG) (Northern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description

    • The purpose of the planner is to manage the allocation process and plan and control stock to achieve maximum sales and profit targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • In-season performance management of stock
    • Analysis of performance data and develop pre-season plans
    • Manage in-season Plans and the adjustment thereof as required
    • Sales and Stock planning and allocation management
    • Product Management (Monitor, analyze and make recommendations of product life cycles)
    • Supply Chain and Supplier management
    • Store support and visits
    • Ad hoc projects

    Requirements

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Commercial or Statistical degree or diploma
    • Planning experience within a FMCG environment will be advatagoues  
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office) as well as experience in planning tools, i.e. Arthur/EP
    • 3-5 years of retail planning experience
    • Competencies Required: Problem assessment; decision making; detail orientation; planning, organizing, and control; business acumen; stress tolerance; relationship building and confidence
    • Good communication skills and a team player that can cope in a dynamic environment

    Technical Support: Security Systems (Northern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description
    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

    • Ensures that the Pep stores security systems in the stores are functioning optimally and are maintained to set standards.  Responsible for setting up and linking security systems to a central inhouse control room to address criminal activity incidents within the store environment to decrease losses for PEP.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Set up and programming of new Alarm and CCTV systems in PEP stores.
    • Monitoring of all  security systems of PEP.
    • Assisting alarm and CCTV technicians with remote support on alarms and CCTV systems.
    • Provides support to field management to ensure efficient stock taking procedures are met.
    • Administrative Responsibilities and 
    • Ad hoc duties.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • PSIRA Grade C will be an advantage
    • Suitable qualification in security operations will be an advantage
    • 3-5 years experience in a security, technical environment
    • Experience working with Patriot Monitoring Software (or similar monitoring software)
    • Knowledge of Texecom systems working with back end solutions (Wintex, Maintex) 
    • Knowledge of Hikvision systems back end solutions. Remote system programming and  monitoring 
    • Knowledge of Networks and IT (will be an advantage)
