• We are looking for a Production Manager to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located in Wadeville. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the management for the various production activities like Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Moral and Effeciency of all the manufacturing units on site through subordinate supervisors and operators in order to achieve planned production targets and to ensure the effective of available resources. Responsible for the formulation of the production programme, plant maintenance schedules and associates development.

• Compile mill grist & control product quality parameters and compile milling and packaging plan.
• Control wheat intake & milling processes.
• Control raw material & finish stock levels & rotation.
• Optimize people, mill, machinery and equipment – also maintain the mill, machinery and equipment.
• Ensure safety, health, hygiene and pest management and manage team.

Qualifications

• NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification
• Trade Test certificate for Wheat Milling
• Minimum of 4 years experience

• Inspected & tested fused boxes, circuits, wiring systems & equipment.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Must possess solid electrical fault-finding capabilities.
• Able to install, commission, refurbish and improve equipment unsupervised.
• Performed planned maintenance on machinery & equipment.
• Executed pneumatic repairs.
• Used, installed and  applied fault finding on  programmable logical control circuits (PLC's).

Qualifications

• Three to five years relevant experience as a qualified artisan.
• NQF 3 Trade tested electrician

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Development of an optimized maintenance work plan with defined and documented processes
• Development of appropriate routine maintenance schedules
• Ensure accurate data and document control
• Communicate and train maintenance and production personnel in the maintenance procedures
• Integration of maintenance activities with production plans
• Forward planning of manpower and materials for planned work and ensuring that those resources are marshalled in readiness.
• Accurate estimation of maintenance work in relation to duration, priority, skills requirements, spares, special tools and equipment, specialist services, and identification of appropriate material requirements.
• Estimation and arranging of contract labour to supplement existing resources to meet maintenance
• Updating maintenance PM system.

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role

• Milling experience will be advantageous
• Technical Trade N4 (Mechanical / Electrical)
• Engineering Diploma/Degree will be advantageous
