    Retail Merchandiser Gauteng

    Purpose of the role:

    • Represent our company’s products and services, through a comprehensive understanding to identify how our solutions meet needs.
    • Ensure that all stock held by the business is correctly and neatly located, binned and displayed at all times and that all racks, bays, gondolas and such holding, or display systems are maintained in a good and clean state at all times.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain existing client base, whilst growing sales and relationships with these clients.
    • Follow a call cycle structure, sticking to routes with clear communication between sales rep and merchandiser.
    • Represent our company's products, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how best to target consumers.
    • Correct implementation of product stands, store point of sale, labelling, pricing.
    • Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
    • Ensure correct forward share, shelf positioning and product flow on shelf.
    • Managing inventory correctly.
    • Manage returns.
    • Adhering to any administrative tasks designated.

    Professional Qualifications & Experience:

    Qualification: Matric

    • Working vehicle in good condition
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • Computer literacy (outlook and excel)
    • Good knowledge of the geographical area
    • Good knowledge of retail security industry

    Experience:

    • 2 Years solid sales experience in a merchandising role.

    Service Sales Technician

    Purpose of the role:

    • Represent our company’s products and services,
    • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales and service targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
    • Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedule to increase sales service parts..
    • Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
    • Identify appropriate opportunities while visiting customers for repairs in order to upsell equipment.
    • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
    • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily job card reports.
    • To maximize the sales of PDS category products (Service, spares, locks, access control etc) through identifying opportunities to expand category sales
    • To sell new PDS service parts in above territories
    • To prepare quotes on PDS Equipment for clients resulting from daily visits.
    • To promote and always sell ASSA ABLOY products.
    • Any other activities and new initiatives which enhance the development & growth of the PDS in above territories.
    • To sell SLA contracts on existing and new operators in the market.
    • Be Prepared to travel when required.

    Professional Qualifications & Experience:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • Computer literacy (outlook and excel)
    • Good knowledge of the geographical area
    • Good knowledge of PDS systems and operators
    • Technical acumen (Basic networking knowledge, understanding of jargon & comfortable with installation of equipment)

    Quality Technician

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all components received and manufactured adhere to dimensional and other quality requirements reflected by drawings and specifications
    • Analysis and reporting of non-conformance.
    • Conduct process capability studies on tools and machines where and when required.
    • Read and manage technical drawings
    • Verify on an Ad-Hoc basis where First Offs has been done, their accuracy and counter-sign documentation, reporting non-conformance to the Production Manager.
    • Enforce quality checks on operators and assemblers
    • Stop the production process when quality requirements are not met, using the correct LINE STOP documentation.
    • Ensure that measuring equipment on the production floor are calibrated and auditable records kept.
    • Communicate non-conformance with supplier as well as production units when failure to adhere to quality requirement are discovered.
    • Offer guidance on the introduction and use of Poke Yoke Gauging.
    • Assist the QM with the in-house audits (with assistance of Roodepoort audit teams) of Process and System as detailed in the MSM.  Also, to accompany AUDITORS during the ISO 9000 audits.
    • Assist with QA function during New Product Development meetings on site.
    • Represent QA in departmental during Quality Review meetings.
    • To be actively involved in daily analysis of scrap at the Analysis Tables and to ensure that scrap is removed daily.
    • Assist in maintenance of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 management system. Procedures, policy, company Context, and SOP’s.
    • Participation on the VAVE process.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 or N3
    • NQF level 3 of quality management certification

    Experience:

    • No less than 5 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Using measuring equipment such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Shadowgraph and 3D measuring machine.
    • Ability to read drawings and specifications related to the product.
    • Basic computer literacy.
