    Front-End Loader Operator

    PURPOSE

    • The position exists to ensure that all Front-End Loader Operating task based on loading, handling of all equipment is done safely and efficiently. This role requires a lot of complex and specialized lifting skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain good house keeping.
    • Responsible for the safe operation of the Front-End Loader
    • Attend pre-shift meetings
    • Report unsafe conditions and behaviour
    • Inspect equipment in the working area
    • Engage post as a scheduled shift worker until relieved by the next shift worker or as arranged by shift supervisor
    • Take instructions from a shift supervisor, process manager and safety officer on given circumstances
    • Adhere to health, safety, environment and production
    • Act responsibly in carrying out their job as a competent person

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 10
    • Code 10 (C1) driver’s license
    • Front End Loader Valid License
    • Front End Loader Training Certificate

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least 2 years’ experience in mining or construction and related to crane driving.

    Shift Supervisor

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Safety, Health, and Environment

    • Conduct pre-shift meetings.
    • Adhere to FAMP and client policies and procedures Always behave safe.
    • Prevent spillages that can negatively influence the environment.

    Operations

    • Maintain good housekeeping standards Operate the plant to meet production targets Optimise quality outputs.
    • Report and rectify process deficiencies Ensure full equipment utilisation Monitor sampling procedures.
    • Monitor medium density and adjust accordingly to standard Minimise magnetite and flocculants.

    Maintenance

    • Inspect equipment in working area.
    • Do general and processing maintenance/repairs e.g., change panels and sieve bends/tighten panels/cutting of skirting.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 3-5 years relevant Supervisory experience
    • Knowledge of crushing plants, (ROM Sections) including crushers, screens, belts and DMS coal wash plant with, all their operational maintenance

    Diesel Mechanic

    PURPOSE

    • This position exists to render an efficient service on maintaining of plant and equipment and adhering to safety aspects.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Observe and Adhere to General Responsibilities
    • Adhere to all employment legislation as amended from time to time. Adhere to the requirements of the SHEQ-C Code of Conduct.
    • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
    • Attend Safety and pre-shift meetings as scheduled.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • N3 or equivalent
    • Trade Test (red seal) as Diesel Mechanic

    • At least three years’ experience on TMM’s in a mining environment

    Electrician - 2 positions

    PURPOSE

    • This position exists to ensure that electrical & instrumentation planning, installation, maintenance and repairs/replacement of all electrical equipment is done safe and efficient (MV & LV).

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Technical Responsibility

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Trade test - MQA/MERSETA preferred.
    • Dual Trade certificate as electrician as well as instrument technician/ mechanician required.
    • N3 - Electrical engineering subjects.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
    • Siemens PLC and SCADA experience will be advantageous.

    • Basic exposure to maintenance of general plant equipment (Strong and divers machining ability is a requirement)

    Site Administrator - 2 positions

    PURPOSE

    • This role is responsible for the administration of financial and payroll activities at site level.
    • Primary source of data input for HRM and Financial systems.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reporting Daily site costing and forecasting on site level, including recording of daily hours on internal and external plant for daily costing and invoicing purposes by suppliers.

    Governance

    • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (Value Added Tax Act etc.) including FA policies and procedures.
    • Ensure payroll inputs are in accordance with FA policy.

    Budget & Forecast

    • Process inputs of site level budgets and forecasts into the ERP system Assist with the monthly rolling forecast calculations.

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Perform other site and administrational duties as required.

    Shared Services Responsibilities

    • Analyzing, drill down and identifying the variance amongst the budget, forecast and actuals. Generating purchase requests and subsequent receipt of goods on site in accordance with orders placed. Assist in good management of company assets on a site level. Ensure employee take on and exit are carried out in line with FA policy. Site stores and consumables management and recording of transactions relating to issues, receiving and stock take.
    • Payroll data input, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of payroll and wages inputs and cost allocations.
    • Ensuring site budget is adhered to Inventory management.
    • Capturing of costs and revenue drivers onto the relevant system on a daily basis Escalating site level accruals to the Assistant Financial Controller
    • Escalation of HR and Finance queries to Shared Services Assistance with bookings and administration relating to training.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 with Accountancy and or Mathematics Computer literacy in Microsoft suite.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 1 year experience in administrative role or similar Experience in ERP system would be advantageous.
