    Enrolled Nurse

    Main Focus Areas

    • To provide nursing care and comfort to all patients assigned to them.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Continuous assessment of patient condition and quality of patient care.​
    • Always adhere to patient’s rights.​
    • Prevents and report medico-legal risks.​
    • Ensure a safe patient environment by maintaining health and safety standards and complying with infection prevention policy.​
    • Maintain quality client care principles. ​
    • To contribute to teamwork and efficiency of the team.​
    • To continuously strive towards delivering of high-quality nursing care.​
    • High energy levels and adaptability to changing working environment.

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Enrolled Nurse diploma and SANC registration.​
    • Theatre experience will be an advantage.​
    • Must be willing to work hours in accordance with the requirements of the unit. ​
    • Fully bilingual with good communication skills.

    Main Focus Areas

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Practice patient care according to Lenmed Standard operating Procedures (SOP’s) and assume responsibility and accountability for these activities under direct supervision of your senior
    • Carry out all unit related duties as assigned by Supervisors
    • Promote and maintain good public relations with all stakeholders
    • Attend handover sessions and unit meetings
    • Refer any queries to the supervisor / shift leader
    • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act)
    • Report Faulty equipment

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary and all applicable Health Care Legislations.
    • Relevant qualification and 2 Years experience within Theatre department as ENA
    • Basic Life Support Course by an accredited Service provider
    • Flexible in working hours/Shifts

    RNE- Theatre

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies and will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs.

    • Computer Literate

    Registered Nurse - MooiMed Private Hospital

    CSSD Cleaner- Theatre

    Main Focus Areas

    • Promotes and restores patients’ health by practicing correct cleaning procedures, correct waste management, disinfecting and sterilization of equipment, correct use of chemicals and laundry procedures.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Practice correct hand washing techniques/procedures
    • Waste segregation according to policy
    • Use correct colour coded mops as according to IFC policy – wash, dry and locked away after been used
    • Interior cleanliness of CSSD, Theatre
    • Completion of hygiene checklist
    • Prevent cross infection by using Biocide
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
    • Test and documentation of test results of autoclave

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Grade 12
    • CSSD Certificate
    • 1 Year experience in a private hospital
    • Good communication skills
    • Able to work as part of a team
    • Able to assume responsibility and a leadership role
    • Knowledge of different instruments, sets and equipment
    • Knowledge of packing and sterilization of instruments
    • Knowledge of testing and working of autoclave and other household equipment
    • Computer literacy (not mandatory)

    Registered Nurse- CSSD Supervisor

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies and will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs. The CSSD Supervisor will also be responsible for the CSSD Department.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Responsible for CSSD Department
    • Responsible for overseeing all CSSD employees in the Theater department
    • Responsible for ensuring all CSSD equipment is cleaner in accordance of IPC standards
    • Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities
    • Communicate effectively with doctors regarding requirements
    • Contribute to the holistic care of patients
    • Attend handover of report at shift commencement
    • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care
    • Promote patient of health and wellbeing
    • Audit of health records to ensure compliance
    • Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately
    • Promote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
    • Experience working in a Theatre and CSSD environment
    • Computer Literate
    • Experience of min 2 years as CSSD supervisor
    • Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation
    • Flexible in working hours/Shifts
