• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MRP Controller to manage and maintain material requirements planning activities to ensure the efficient availability of stock and materials in line with production and customer demands. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• Higher certificate / Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years working experience in the steel industry.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in planning / expediting.
• Must understand the process flow.
• Must have above average PC skills.
• Must have SAP experience.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English (Read, write and speak)
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
• Must have SigmaNest experience.
• Must have MasterCam experience
• Must have basic drawing knowledge 

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Production and housekeeping on SAP
• Communication with Sales, Production, Warehouse and branches to improve customer service.
• Manage and control production orders according to customer requirements.
• Resolve, monitor and expedite outstanding orders.
• Formulate lead times efficiently.
• Facilitate optimal usage of material.
• Determine delays and adjust schedules to meet deadlines accordingly.
• STO Tonnages for collection from branches.
• Control housekeeping functions in MRP
• Perform general office administration.
• Drilling programs

• Seeking a results driven individual to join our dynamic sales team to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned client base and/or market segment by effectively selling Macsteel VRN's products and related services.

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum Grade 12 (Std 10)
• Knowledge of VRN products is essential – Stainless, Aluminium and Carbon Steel
• Minimum of 5 years external sales experience.
• Key account management is essential.
• Technical drawing experience and the interpretation thereof is a pre-requisite.
• CAD experience is essential.
• Must be computer literate. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and SAP experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal / telephonic communication skills are a requirement.
• Must be a team player. 

Duties and Responsibilities    

• All aspects of external sales including handling of customer calls, preparation of quotations and processing of customer orders
• Exceptional customer interaction and service levels.
• Follow-up with customers to ensure completion of order requirements.
• Meeting sales targets
• Day to day liaison with stores, operations, distribution, and customers.
• Quotes, costing and sourcing.
• Liaise with Management on pricing (special, contract and normal pricing).
• Provide market intelligence and activities to grow market share.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Maximise business unit profits.
• Assist with stock counts.
