    Warehouse Operations Manager (Elandsfontein)

    Description

    • Manage delivery of the performance targets based on defined timelines.
    • Organise work and ensure all team members understand their tasks.
    • Manage and monitor performance.
    • Conduct training and provide feedback.
    • Review warehouse processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
    • Receive local and international shipments.
    • Manage inbound process including offloading stock, physical staging of stock.
    • Ensure quality management is adhered to.
    • Ensure stock is accurately recorded and reflected in the warehouse management system.
    • Manage the accurate picking of parts based on customer orders as per the picking slips.
    • Maintain high quality, safety, health and efficiency standards.
    • Manage efficient handover of parts to the service providers to ensure the stock is dispatched.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
    • Supply Chain Management (or equivalent NQF Level 5).

    Skill:

    • Leadership and organisational skills.
    • Must have the ability to mediate conflict.
    • Must be able to work well under extreme pressure and produce results accordingly.
    • Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
    • Problem Solving Skills.

    Experience:

    • 2-3 years experience in warehouse operations, ideally within the automotive industry.

    Diesel Mechanic (Durban)

    Description

    • Accurately diagnose faults found and reported on a vehicle (trouble shooting).
    • Carry out servicing and repairs to vehicles in an efficient manner.
    • Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as and when needed.
    • Ensure workshop quality, safety and security procedures are adhered to at all times.
    • Report any vehicle faults other than those on the job card.
    • Conduct servicing according to MAN specifications and service sheet.
    • Work accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
    • N3 and possess a Diesel Mechanic trade test certificate.
    • Possession of a dual trade is highly advantageous.

    Skills:

    • Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail.
    • Work independently though being a team player.
    • Customer focused with a results driven approach.
    • Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
    • EC or EC1 drivers licence.
    • EC type driver’s license and valid PDP for either goods or passenger vehicles.
    • Must be willing to work on standby.
    • Computer Literate.
    • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays may be required.

    Experience:

    • Trade Certificate experience in the heavy commercial vehicle industry - 5 years.
    • MAN and / or VW heavy commercial vehicles - 3 years.
    • MAN CATS 3 - 1 year.

    Team Leader (Durban)

    Description

    • Manage and drive productivity and efficiency to achieve set targets.
    • Responsible for the achievement of sold hours target.
    • Responsible for minimizing rectifications through continuous improvement of workmanship.
    • Responsible for planning and workshop loading.
    • Responsible for supervising and ensuring training of staff in the workshop.
    • Responsible for ensuring that health, safety and environmental procedures are adhered to.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
    • N3 with a trade test certificate as an Auto Electrician/Diesel Mechanic.

    Skills:

    • EC or EC1 drivers licence.
    • Strong Diagnostic Abilities.
    • Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
    • Customer focused with a results driven approach.
    • Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail.
    • Work independently though being a team player.
    • Work well under pressure and maintain good customer relations.

    Experience:

    • Trade Certificate experience in the heavy commercial vehicle industry - 5 years.
