    Mechanical Engineer

    Mechanical Engineer

    • Our client is a long-established project controls and management specialist with a strong reputation for professionalism, technical excellence and sustained growth.

    • They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience working within major EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Management) environments.
    • The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical engineering expertise to multidisciplinary projects, contributing to design development, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and supporting project delivery from concept through commissioning. This role is based at the client’s office in Irene, Centurion.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc) or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working with large EPCM companies.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering standards and construction processes.
    • Proficiency in mechanical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
    • Ability to interpret and develop technical drawings, P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and datasheets.
    • Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Support the mechanical engineering scope throughout all project phases—from concept, FEED, and detailed design through construction and commissioning.
    • Prepare mechanical engineering deliverables such as calculations, specifications, datasheets, and design reports.
    • Review vendor documentation and evaluate equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment of technical work.
    • Provide mechanical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
    • Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical assessments when required.
    • Contribute input to project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
    • Ensure all mechanical engineering work complies with relevant industry standards and internal quality requirements.
    • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure informed and timely decision-making.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in the development of internal engineering best practices.

    Debt Review Administrator

    Debt Review Administrator (6-Month Contract) 

    • Our client, a well-established organisation within a diversified group of companies, is seeking a meticulous and organised Debt Review Administrator to join their team in Pretoria East.
    • The successful candidate will support the full debt review process in alignment with the National Credit Act (NCA) and relevant industry regulations. This role requires strong administrative capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy, professionalism, and sound regulatory understanding.

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Driver’s License and own vehicle. 
    • Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory). 
    • Debt Review or Debt Counselling certification (advantageous). 
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in debt review administration or financial administration. 
    • Solid understanding of the NCA, debt review procedures, and related regulations. 
    • Knowledge of key principles such as the Induplum rule, prescription, and mora interest. 
    • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with debt review management systems. 
    • Strong administrative, organisational, and numerical skills. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

    Roles and Responsibilities: 

    Case Assessment & Review 

    • Review and analyse client financial information to determine levels of over-indebtedness. 
    • Verify documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to legal processes. 

    Debt Review Administration 

    • Prepare, issue, and track Form 17.2 notifications to credit providers. 
    • Draft repayment proposals, including interest rate adjustments and extended repayment terms. 
    • Maintain accurate, updated case files and data on internal debt review systems. 
    • Ensure adherence to the National Credit Act, the Debt Collectors Act, and internal compliance standards. 

    Stakeholder Engagement 

    • Liaise professionally with debt counsellors, clients, and credit providers to ensure smooth case progression. 
    • Address and resolve queries timeously while maintaining a high level of service delivery. 

    Reporting & Compliance 

    • Compile, update, and monitor performance and operational reports as required. 
    • Ensure all administrative and compliance processes meet internal quality standards.
