• Financial budgeting/forecasting knowledge in an entrepreneurial capacity.
• People Management - Training & Development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Deep understanding of retail trade, brand, customers, and products.

Job Description

• What does a Cashbook Clerk do? They ensure the reconciliation of the assigned accounts are maintained on a monthly basis.                                

Responsibilities

• Cashbook processing and Bank Recon:
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation for each bank account, both local and foreign, to reconcile the bank statements to the General Ledger bank balance in order to investigate variances or discrepancies which may result in loss. 
• Processing of monthly interest and bank charges
• Variance Analysis:
• Identify and investigate cash variances within stores and instances of fraud in order to resolve differences and avoid loss.
• Assist team with adhoc tasks

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Skills:

• Computer literate – ability to work on Excel, MS Outlook, Dynamics (D365) an advantage
• Experience working with bank reconciliations
• 2 years’ experience working with cashbooks

Responsibilities

• Work with architects, system engineers and other IT support teams to define, guide, advise on security standards across the IT landscape, monitoring network activity to identify vulnerable points
• Design and configure security hardware and software
• Use the toolsets available to identify and detect intrusions on corporate network and endpoints; detect any unauthorized attempts to access the systems
• Solutionise by providing options for the IT network for enhancement to the security roadmap
• Train other employees on security best practices, mentoring to junior team members
• Monitor software and hardware for any possible cyber attacks
• Perform security assessments and conduct internal scanning on the network
• Analyze existing systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements

Qualifications
Experience

• 3 years’ experience in a Security role 
• 5+ years in an Infrastructure Back-end support environment and Implementation and deployment of enterprise solutions
• Solid technical experience in Networking (LAN and WAN management, FW/Routers/Switches/Wifi/DHCP/DNS/DMZ/Edge/Segmentation etc). 
• Essential understanding of the response required in a Security Operations Centre. 
• Strong knowledge of design, test solutions, authentication methods, Windows, Apple & Linux operating systems, protocols, Data leakage, Mobile device management, endpoint, application, cloud solutions, identity and access management, penetration testing, web security, strong networking or Microsoft back-end experience. 
• Scripting and knowledge of the NIST and SANS framework would be advantageous. 
• Experience in Governance (POPI/Data Protection/PCI/Policy and Procedure) is required. Knowledge of current security risks and protocols, creation of policy, procedure and standards documentation.
• Management of a Security information and event management environment 
• Design, test, implementation and support of vulnerability management solutions, authentication methods, email and collaboration tools
• Windows, Apple & Linux operating systems, protocols, Mobile device management, Intrusion Detection and Prevention software, network, perimeter, endpoint, application, cloud solutions, identity and access management, penetration testing
• Scripting and knowledge of the NIST and SANS framework would be a great advantage

Education & Certifications

Job Description

• Maintain a comprehensive IT asset inventory, tracking location and allocation to optimize asset utilization and ensure compliance with IT Asset Management policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain the location and movement of IT assets within the IT asset management system        
• Conduct monthly stock takes of all IT assets in storage        
• Ensuring the IT Asset Management policy and procedures are applied correctly in all scenarios        
• Maintaining accurate records of IT peripherals bond stock (small items not recorded in the ITAM system) and submitting requests for new stock orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels 
• Liaise with vendors to facilitate repairs and replacements of devices under warranty
• Testing of IT assets to ensure they are in full working condition and recommending corrective measures if they are not       
• Facilitating the return of IT assets and peripherals from exiting associates       
• Issuing of IT assets and peripherals to IT Technicians based on open requests in the ITSM system            

Qualifications

• NQF level 6 (Diploma course of 1-3 years) 
• 2 - 3 years experience
• Knowledge of intermediate clerical, operational or customer service skills acquired through education, experience or on the job training
• Excel experience advantageous
