    Storeman

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and recorded before issuing of engineering and statutory equipment.
    • Liaise with artisans where necessary to ensure that the correct equipment and spares are always available for the plant.

    • Ensure statutory compliance of engineering equipment being issued from the stores.
    • Comply with and ensure that all health and safety rules are met and pro-actively address any safety concerns which may be harmful to self or other employees.
    • Assist in repairing, maintenance and manufacturing of all engineering equipment in the workshop.
    • Ensure that all inspections meet required quality engineering standards before issuing to plant.

    Requirements
     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Completed Matric qualification or N3 in Mechanical Engineering.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience within an engineering workshop or stores environment.
    • Experience working with engineering equipment will be an added advantage.

    Instrument Mechanician (Refinery)

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Execute industrial instrumentation planned maintenance within specified time and give feedback to foreman.
    • Promptly attend to any industrial instrumentation and related process control systems breakdowns and call-outs.
    • Manage all maintenance work orders issued on time to ensure that weekly and monthly KPIs are met.
    • Complete your weekly work orders on time within expected levels of quality.
    • Working with projects department to ensure that all new projects are complete in accordance with existing specification and best practices aligned to electrical and instrumentation work.
    • Participate in risk assessments and incidence investigations based on external and internal influences, including any inspections or audits when required.
    • Ensure compliance with the permit to work system as well as other related protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with any instruction given with regards to Occupational Health and Safety.
    • Assists in cost reduction initiatives by reducing waste and improving efficiencies.
    • The incumbent will be required to work rotational stand-by with other instrumentation staff to cover the Refinery or Service Yard business unit.

    Requirements

     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Completed Matric qualification.
    • N3 or equivalent with a recognised Trade test certificate in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
    • National Diploma as an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in the industrial instrumentation field.

    Artisan Electrician (Service Yard)

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Ensure that the plant is in working order from an electrical perspective to minimise downtime and faults in the Service Yard and Refinery areas.
    • Identify, repair and perform effective maintenance on  breakdowns timeously and accurately.
    • Regularly perform proactive maintenance on equipment to deter any failures in adherence with scheduling
    • Perform planned maintenance on equipment to deter any failures in adherence with scheduling.
    • Adhere to all SHEQ legislations regarding safety and machine maintenance. Produce safety cards as required.
    • Liaise with buyers where necessary or source for parts, spares and equipment for general maintenance .
    • Assist others where necessary in the maintenance of equipment and machinery and train other staff on the job where required.
    • Supervise and support the assistants or contractors when working on a task.
    • Regularly perform lockouts on systems where required.
    • The incumbent will be expected to work on standby and shifts as and when required in the service yard and refinery.

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • National certificate(NQF level4) in Electrical Engineering with a recognised Electrical Trade Test.
    • Minimum of 5 -7 years working experience, preferably in a FMCG or manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with HT switching will be advantageous.
