    Quality Operations Analyst

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Quality Analysis:

    • Conduct relevant laboratory, hygiene, sanitation and supplier quality audits and follow up on corrective actions
    • Analysis, trending and reporting of complaints.  Complaints handling - follow up on red alerts.
    • Report on quality matters

    Quality Systems:

    • Implement standardised systems and best practices to guarantee quality assurance
    • Assist in drawing up and implementation of HACCP plans at the sites.

    ​​​​​​​Quality Improvement Plans:

    • Design and implement site quality improvement plans

    ​​​​​​​Compliance:

    • Monitor non-conformance measurements and implement relevant quality improvement plans to reduce complaints. 
    • Keep up to date with the relevant legislation and best practice with a view ensuring that all relevant Tiger Brands’ policies are up-to-date and templates are compliant
    • Govern the organisational design framework and adherence to processes, policies and guidelines

    Internal Senior Auditor

    Position Summary:

    • The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for independently leading audit assignments across operations, finance, manufacturing, and sales. The role involves evaluating effectiveness of internal controls, assessing risk management practices, and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
    • This position provides guidance to internal and junior auditors and ensures that audits are conducted in line with professional standards.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute audits across departments including manufacturing, distribution, inventory, procurement, and sales.
    • Assess and report on internal control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
    • Draft detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations.
    • Mentor and review work performed by Internal and Junior Auditors.
    • Support investigations and special projects as required by the Lead Internal Auditor.
    • Assist in the development and review of audit programs and testing methodologies.

    Sales Representative: Inland North

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of Tiger Brands products within your portfolio, sales systems and procedures.
    • Develop strong business relationships with store management to provide service and value beyond the customer's expectations.
    • Perform in-store planning by tailoring programs and fact-based sales presentations to the customer's needs, store demographics, and the current consumer base.
    • Work with customers to ensure sufficient product is ordered to support consumer take away.
    • Implement POP drivers as per customer and brand plans and report on the POP scorecard.
    • Take stock on every call cycle.
    • Ensure that stores are complying promotional space and pricing agreements. 
    • Ensure SKU’s by category and space are as per the trade agreement.
    • Communicate plans and effectively manage merchandising resources to build sales volume at store level. Work in conjunction with the merchandiser to ensure inventory is fully stocked, rotated and presentable at all times.
    • Properly credit and dispose of all returns from all stores.
    • Gather intelligence and report on customer preferences, competitive activity & pricing.
    • Act as the link between our Customer Manager’s and customer store management.
    • Effective and timeous presentation of deal sheets to buyers.
    • Effectively manage all customer documentation and administration such as application forms, claims, payments etc.

    Distribution Controller

    • Manage the Driver Sales team to ensure deliveries are on time, in full, and according to agreed schedule and volumes. Manage the effective distribution of products. Identify and implement best fit route optimization model and systems. Implement bakery’s operational plans to optimize distribution channels and penetrate the market

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Sales

    • Support Sales team to develop new markets through delivering to new outlets and drive business development with exsting customers.
    • Build excellent relations with the trade (customers) and truck crews (Drivers & Van Assistants)
    • Conduct daily driver debriefs to review route performance, utilising the debrief form
    • Consistent monitoring of the distribution network (Route viability and Performance).
    • Manage returns and stock on truck
    • Liaise with Telesales
    • Fill in as a relief Distribution Controller where required
    • Meet daily, weekly and monthly sales targets

    In-trade Execution

    • Credit returns minimized as per Bakery policy
    • Baskets Management- Baskets’ Movement, Basket Counts and control

    Custome​​​​​​​r relations

    • Open new accounts (Cash/Credit account customers in General Trade)
    • Ensure outstanding monies are collected daily
    • Ensure special deliveries made and customer queries handled
    • Ensure that the customer data is reviewed and updated regularly

    Quality

    • Understand the requirements of product quality
    • Learn how to deal with customer complaints
    • Report consumer complaints to Sales Manager
    • Manage market incidents
    • Understand and manage the withdrawal/recall process
    • Understand the logistics process

    Trade Marketing

    • Support customer and route plans
    • Support plan and implement competitive sales plans to bring about a substantial volume growth
    • Understand applicable Channel Strategies
    • Understand the Customer Management process
    • Understand Pricing Strategies

    • Prepared to work in informal and formal trade sector
