    Ice Cream Net Revenue Management Business Partner

    What will your main responsibilities be:

    • Co-ordinate, collaborate & support delivery of Net Revenue Management, by managing the capability building, analytics & key milestones.
    • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that will be a key growth driver for the category, with clear actions and KPI’s, measured & tracked via P&L & market share.
    • Strategically influence and bring thought leadership in Net Revenue Management i.e. develop and evolve existing tools to improve their performance, &/or pilot and roll-out new tools where required.
    • Support the creation of customer selling stories that positions Unilever as an expert in this space & drive actions that grow both Unilever & Customer businesses.

    Key requirements & experiences required for the role:

    Essential:

    • Completed bachelor’s degree in business information, Data Science, Engineering or Finance.
    • 2-3 years working experience within FMCG (analytical experience is a bonus).

    Skills:

    • Working knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI (or proven track record of being able to upskill in new software independently).
    • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
    • Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner and clearly articulate impact to business, i.e. join-the-dots between data analytics & creating simple & actionable insights.
    • Able to interact and work well in a team to collaborate & co-create opportunities; ability to work cross-functionally and lead from within role.
    • Curious to understand the consumer, shopper and customer through data driven insights, trade visits & immersions – to ensure insightsand strategic recommendations are relevant, differentiated & future fit.

    Ice Cream Procurement Specialist_Soft Commodities & Ingredients South Africa

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the development and lead the implementation of the portfolio procurement strategy.
    • Develop strong relationship with suppliers and analyze their capabilities to develop long term supplier strategies.
    • Lead frequent negotiations, delivering of savings and cash targets via excellent market understanding, strategy implementations and negotiation skills
    • Create a savings pipeline for the portfolio and aling on execution with relevant teams
    • Implement contracts and ensuring high service levels to sourcing units in South Africa
    • Ensure compliance of RSP, Contracting, Quality and service in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Initiate portfolio initiatives (e.g., ASA/AMA, Resilience, market development, etc) to create more leverage, ensuring strong connection with the market and MET’s.
    • Support innovation projects through strong collaboration with R&D team, providing market intelligence, supplier capabilities and capacity
    • Work closely with the finance community to support the business with accurate price forecasting, including market price trends and future market trends to enable proper budgeting and price forecasting
    • Continuously seeking for new opportunities and always open for improvement
    • Work closely with the global team to make sure insights from local players are taken into account when executing the cover strategy

    EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:   

    • Minimal Bachelor’s Degree
    • >3 years of experience in Procurement, SC functions (experience in previous buyer roles will be a plus)
    • Experience in Cross Functional working / Affinity or working experience with/in R&D
    • High level Business acumen and negotiation skills
