    Transport Control Administrator

    Job Purpose

    • To mitigate Company risk by executing route assignments through daily dispatching and debriefing of drivers and vehicles.  Coordinate the dispatch process per route and physically debrief of each route in order to support increased customer service and improve efficiencies in the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    Vehicle Dispatch

    • Administer and monitor the uploaded system route allocations on a daily basis.
    • Ensure that the vehicles are dispatched according to the agreed business process.
    • Responsible for issuing all relevant documentation to the driver including equipment (including but not limited to) vehicle keys, fuel cards, thermometers and navigational tools.
    • Check company resources and staff meet company standards as per the Daily Vehicle Checklist form.
    • Ensure the Tracking tripsheet is correct as per the physical situation in terms of driver, vehicle and other resources before the vehicle leaves the depot.
    • Update or correct trip information on the Tracking system before vehicle leaves the depot.

    Driver Debriefing

    • Monitor real time fuel consumption, speeding, braking and other driving and vehicle performance exceptions prior to vehicle returning to the depot.
    • Note exceptions of route in prereturn on the Tracking system eg. Door openings outside Decos.
    • Liase with Tracking on road Execution Agents.
    • Retrieve the printed Debrief document and correct daily vehicle checklist prior to the drivers’ return.
    • Debrief the drivers as they return.
    • Discuss, resolve and record any exceptions.
    • Walk the vehicles to confirm no damage or issues as per the Daily Vehicle checklist.
    • Get the driver to sign the Trip sheet, Debrief document and Daily vehicle checklist.
    • Collect vehicle keys, fuel cards, thermometers and navigational tools in line the agreed business process.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job

    • Matric
    • Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
    • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in an administration/transport environment, preferably within a FMCG environment
    • SAP experience would be an advantage.

    Financial Manager: Fixed Assets and Reporting

    Job Purpose

    • To provide strategic and operational leadership over the organisation's fixed asset portfolio and financial reporting processes. The role ensures accurate asset accounting, robust financial controls, compliant statutory and management reporting, and reliable financial insights that support business decision-making, governance, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Fixed Asset Management

    • Lead and govern the fixed asset accounting function in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
    • Ensure accurate asset capitalisation, depreciation, impairment, revaluation and disposal accounting.
    • Maintain integrity and completeness of the fixed asset register.
    • Oversee physical asset verification exercises and periodic reconciliations.
    • Partner with Operations, Procurement and Project teams to ensure proper capital expenditure treatment.
    • Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and investigate variances.
    • Drive continuous process improvements and strengthen controls within the asset management environment.

    Financial Reporting

    • Prepare, review and manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of fixed asset balances and disclosures.
    • Support statutory reporting requirements and annual financial statement preparation.
    • Coordinate reporting inputs for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
    • Produce management reports and provide insights relating to capital investments and asset performance.
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and internal governance standards

    Audit, Risk & Compliance

    • Act as the primary finance contact for internal and external audits relating to fixed assets.
    • Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of financial controls.
    • Address audit findings and process weaknesses through corrective action plans.
    • Maintain compliance with all accounting standards, legislative requirements and company policies.

    Stakeholder and Team Management

    • Provide financial guidance to business stakeholders on asset-related matters.
    • Collaborate with Finance, Tax, FP&A, Accounts Payable and Operations teams.
    • Lead, coach and develop team members to build technical capability and accountability.
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job

    Qualifications and Experience

    • CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
    • Relevant post-graduate qualification in Finance or Accounting would be advantageous.
    • Minimum 5 to 8 years' post-qualification experience in financial reporting and/or fixed asset management.
    • Experience managing complex fixed asset portfolios in a large corporate environment.
    • Proven experience in statutory reporting and audit management.
    • Demonstrated people management experience.
    • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
    • Exposure to logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or operational finance environments would be advantageous.
