Job Description

• We are seeking a Trade Spend Administrator to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract. 
• This role is crucial for the timely and accurate processing of trade spend invoices. 
• You will collaborate closely with our Key Account and Finance teams to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage rebate claims with a large book value per month
• Process large volumes of rebate claims deductions per month
• Monitor and ensure appropriate action on all deducted claims.
• Ensure timely matching and clearance of claims before month-end closing.

Qualification and Experience

• A formal qualification in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a related field

Key responsibilities

• Regular, accurate analytics relevant to the various stakeholders
• Ad-hoc analytics as requested by the team
• Proactively identifying and addressing areas for analytics
• Developing new data sources
• Build strong relationship with research partners

Qualification and experience

• Understanding of FMCG and Food Service categories and how the data for these is generated
• 5+ years of experience in the FMCG and/or Food service industries
• Experience in analytics of a variety of data sources
• Experience in using Excel and BI tools for reporting, analysis, data cleaning and data management
• Excellent working knowledge of how the FMCG and Food Service industries work
• Excellent working knowledge of the data and systems available in the FMCG and Food Service industries in South Afrika
• Strong business acumen
