    Value Chain Coordinator Mr Price

    Job Description

    • Analyse key Sourcing and Supply Chain metrics within the division in order to identify opportunities for process and efficiency enhancements throughout the supply chain pipeline. 
    • Lead and engage with key stakeholders in order to prepare and implement enhancement projects. 
    • Partner with the Supply Chain and Sourcing teams in the delivery of the strategy, objectives and standards.

    Responsibilities
    Analysis and Investigation        

    • Monitor and analyse the key metrics across Supply Chain and Sourcing in order to measure performance and highlight potential risk or opportunities to the business. 
    • Investigate ways in which to enhance business processes, improve efficiencies and reduce costs / waste in the pipeline for optimal results and to maximize additional profitability opportunities

    Job Description

    • The Responsible Sourcing Manager plays a key role in reducing risk to Mr Price by ensuring that factories and suppliers develop, implement, and regularly update responsible strategic plans. The role includes oversight, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on compliance impact.

    Responsibilities
    Research & Strategy Development

    • Keep abreast of best responsible business practices per region, to reduce risk and drive supplier compliance
    • Research on New factories for production on new products in collaboration with sourcing.
    • Create regional and supplier-based compliance-readiness strategies based on research and PM's.
    • Develop and implement responsible and sustainable sourcing strategy and program, including relevant policies, standards, and processes.

    Compliance Implementing & Monitoring

    • Ensure suppliers have a strategy towards BBEE and factory social compliance

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a mid- to senior-management role in Responsible Sourcing, Ethical Sourcing, or Sustainability, preferably within the fashion, clothing manufacturing, or retail sector. Experience in factory or ethical sourcing from other industries will also be considered
    • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and compliance training across international and South African contexts

    Job Description

    • The purpose of this role is to collaborate and implement as well as monitor and evaluate the business processes & practices to ensure that Responsible Sourcing is enabled.

    Responsibilities
    Compliance:

    • Analysis, approvals and elevations of audits
    • Analysis, approval and elevations of CAPS trackers. Management of on-boarding documents and process together with sourcing team.
    • Uploading of social audits and CAPS (Corrective Action Plans) on the share drive.
    • Analysis, approvals and elevations of BBBEE requests/updates to finance
    • Factory spot-checking / visits (at least 50% travel entailed), ensuring all factories are compliant under the four pillars (Labour Standards, Health and Safety, Environment, business ethics) and are abiding to legal business compliancy. This will include conducting factory visits with sourcing team to establish social compliance and production capabilities of potential new suppliers.
    • Development of corrective action plan with supplier based on factory audit. Monitoring of issues raised to ensure closure within agreed timeframes
    • Conduct supplier meetings (face-to-face/online)
    • DTR - FAMA compliance and validity
    • DTR Updates and requirements and updates
    • Labelling requirements - future proof (training / informing / fact finding)
    • LOA's – assess legal requirements/product specs
    • Constant communication with suppliers and their factories. Feedback to merchandise, sourcing and ethical trade team on risk profiles and trends in supply base where necessary.
    • Keep abreast of international compliance standards and testing processes to maintain overall compliance in the following areas (Labour Law, Health and Safety, Environment and business ethics).
    • Raise the level of awareness of responsible sourcing with roll out of ethical buying training across the divisions.

    Supplier Onboarding and Relationship building:

    • Management of suppliers and factories to derive risk profile of all suppliers in our supply chain.
    • Create and maintain transparent supplier relationships in order to build long-term, sustainable improvements in our supply chain.

    Training

    • Ensure supply chain is monitored and evaluated and provide clear regular overviews to vendors of their compliance status and corrective action plans.
    • Conduct training workshops for suppliers to address issues of non-compliance and visibility.
    • Provide practical guidance and training for suppliers on driving sustainable improvements.

    Qualifications

    Job Description

    • The overall purpose of this role is to monitor and control inventory processes, to optimise the flow of inventory through the DC, ensuring that quality and accuracy is maintained.

    Responsibilities

    Inventory Accuracy and optimization

    • Coordination and planning of inventory flow through the DC 
    • Carrying out action plans that will ensure accuracy of the WMS.
    • Working with the production team to ensure optimization within processes.
    • Liaising with stakeholders when necessary regarding issues or communications. These include internal DC, IT teams, couriers, divisional teams, suppliers, customers, auditors and stores/store Inventory Teams.

    Inventory Control

    • Monitoring quality control processes and ensuring that all risk areas are monitored through controls.
    • Researching, raising call logs, follow-up, and conducting investigations into processes aiming to continuously improve them.
    • Reconciling inventory through investigations, adjustments, ensuring integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
    • Monitoring admin and inventory process controls, and driving inventory accuracy within internal departments by identifying trends and raising this with management.
    • Control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory; Providing assistance to internal and external audits teams.
    • Monitor overstocks and stock ageing and communicating with production team to clear stock.
    • Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory issues.
    • Work with the Inventory Lead to ensure cycle counts are controlled and monitored.

    • Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions.
    • Monitor store queries, and where spikes are detected, investigate further.
    • Monitor Stock in Transit (to the DC) and ensure all transfers are with specified ageing window.
    • Work collaboratively with the Durban warehouse inventory team.
    • Support warehouse managers when required.
