    Business Analyst

    Job Description    

    • We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong retail background to join our IT team and help drive smarter, more effective ways of working across the organisation. In this role, you’ll take ownership of analysing business needs, shaping solutions, and supporting system enhancements while championing tools in various systems to improve collaboration and delivery.     Qualifications    

    • Relevant Tertiary IT Qualification Certificate or Diploma in Business Process Analysis.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience    

    • Two or more years of working  experience as a Business Analyst is essential.
    • Experience within the retail environment is advantageous.
    • Business Analyst exposure with system analysis, business process development, including the holding of workshops, and preparing documentation.
    • Experience in writing business and system requirements and functional specifications.
    • Experience in communicating with clients and facilitating workshops.

    • Assess and define change requests received from users about business processes and systems.
    • Participate in the solution design process, provide solutions for requests and support the implementation thereof.
    • Translation of business processes and system requirements into specific projects, ensuring solutions are commercially acceptable within the strategic framework.
    • Provide effective and timeous support to internal users on processes, systems and technology activities.
    • Maintaining configuration documents and providing recommendations as necessary.

    Management Accountant: Support Services

    Job Description    

    • Pepkor Specialty is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting to support decision-making across our support service departments. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to provide clear analysis, guidance, and financial insights that drive performance. You will also lead the monthly and quarterly management reporting cycles, as well as the Budgeting and Three-Year Plan processes, ensuring high-quality consolidated outputs.     Qualifications

    • Assisting and preparing the information for the forecasting process (including ad-hoc forecasting requests and investigations).
    • Review, report and feedback on the actual expenditure of Support Services.
    • Periodic review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they are correct.
    • Communicate finance information to relevant business stakeholders to assist with making the right financial decisions through reporting and engagement.
    • Monitoring of expenses and reporting on exceptions.
    • Assist with any ad hoc requests related to the portfolio.
