    Demand Planning Manager

    Key Purpose

    • The Demand Planning Manager leads the national demand forecasting process, ensuring an accurate, aligned forecast that supports commercial, financial, and supply chain planning. The role improves forecast accuracy, manages demand risks and scenarios, enables effective IBP cycles, and develops a high-performing Demand Planning team.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outcome

    Demand Forecasting and Consensus Building

    • Own the national volume forecast across all categories, channels, and time horizons.
    • Lead monthly demand review cycles in alignment with the IBP process.
    • Work cross-functionally to build consensus between Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain

    Forecast Accuracy and Continuous Improvement

    • Analyse forecast performance, identify root causes of inaccuracies, and lead corrective action initiatives.
    • Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy through analytics, collaboration, and enhanced process discipline.
    • Implement forecast segmentation, lifecycle planning, and event-based adjustment best practices.

    Process and System Enablement

    • Ensure adherence to a structured demand planning calendar and governance framework.
    • Leverage statistical models, system-generated forecasts, and market intelligence to produce robust projections.
    • Champion the use of  demand planning system across all users.

    Leadership and People Development

    • Lead, coach, and mentor Demand Planners, ensuring role clarity, capability development, and performance excellence.
    • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support career development for team members.
    • Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture within the demand planning function.

    Scenario and Risk Management

    • Lead the modeling of demand scenarios in response to promotional activity, pricing shifts, customer initiatives, or market disruption.
    • Provide early warnings on risks and opportunities, with actionable mitigation plans.
    • Accountable for volume alignment across financial, commercial, and operational functions.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

    • Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to align forecast with revenue targets and market dynamics.
    • Represent the demand function in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forums and executive reviews.
    • Present forecast insights, key drivers, and forecast accuracy metrics clearly to senior leadership.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Education

    • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, related field
    • Preferred: Honours or postgraduate qualification in Demand Planning, Operations Research, or Commercial Strategy

    Experience

    • 6–8 years’ experience in demand planning or forecasting within FMCG or manufacturing
    • Proven success in cross-functional planning environments (Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing)
    • Demonstrated impact on forecast improvement and planning process enhancement
    • Experience in integrated IBP cycles
    • Demonstrated experience leading and developing demand planning teams, including setting objectives, coaching performance, and building capability.

    Skills

    • Strong statistical forecasting and analytical capabilities
    • Expertise in SAP, Blue Yonder or similar demand planning platforms
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel; Power BI or Tableau is a plus
    • Understanding of market dynamics, promotional planning, and product lifecycle management
    • Skilled in presenting data-driven insights and engaging cross-functional teams
    • Familiarity with commercial planning processes and their integration with supply chain
    • Strong influential, communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
    • Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and performance-manage Demand Planners.

    Job Description    

    • Coca Cola Beverages South Africa has an exciting opportunity in the Sales & Marketing Department. We are looking for seasoned individual with necessary skills & experience for a Project Manager role.

    Key Purpose Statement 

    • Supports key business strategic initiatives through the delivery of multi-disciplinary Commercialisation projects from concept to market launch.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Take full ownership of assigned projects and execute in accordance to the appropriate project management framework and governance protocols.
    • Develop comprehensive project management plans to ensure that it is executed in a seamless, efficient and effective manner to support the achievement of key objectives. 
    • Manage key project stakeholders across the entire CCBA value chain to drive alignment to project objectives and expectations. 
    • Support business growth strategy and segmented execution through the roll out of consumer promotions affecting packaging, discontinuations, reformulations, visual identity system changes, new product launches, and package introductions. 
    • Manage an effective relationship with the project Sponsor to ensure alignment on project performance, risks and opportunities.
    • Ensure regular engagements with key project team members to drive  the achievement of project schedule and deliverables. 
    • Effectively manage project scope, risks or issues, and resources to achieve project objectives.
    • Drive effective cost controls to minimise costs and waste.  
    • Develop effective communication or training plans to mobilise the entire business to support successful product launches.
    • Track and monitor project deliverables and outputs to ensure in-time, in-scope and in-budget project completion.  
    • Generate insights from in-depth business data analysis to drive decision making for assigned projects.
    • Support the development of comprehensive business cases and/or value chains by providing appropriate input. 
    • Develop post-launch and completion reviews to ensure appropriate close out and embedment of project(s).

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Relevant Formal qualification in Commercial, Marketing or Supply Chain. 
    • Advanced proficiency using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and Project Management methods and techniques. 
    • Project Management accreditation would be a distinct advantage (CAPM or PMP is preferable).
    • 4-5 years’ experience Supply Chain or Commercial experience within a FMCG environment, and 2-3 years Project Management experience.

    Sales Team Lead

    Job Description    

    • Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting possible opportunity in our Sales department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Sales Team Lead role, which will based in Grahamstown. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager in the site.

    Key Purpose: 

    • The Sales Team Lead will implement and execute L&T strategies in the trade through effective management and coaching of team members (Merchandiser Order Takers) in order to achieve KPI’s.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Sales Target Achievement: Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales target achievement across the region. Review sales performance regularly and take corrective action where required. Optimize sales through strategic allocation of resources like POS, promotional stock, and merchandising support.
    • Customer & Market Development: Partner with sales reps to develop and execute customer-specific business plans. Grow market share through effective merchandising, trade execution, and customer relationship management. Conduct trade visits and engage with store managers/owners to maintain high retail execution standards.
    • Execution Excellence: Ensure Picture of Success is implemented by the sales team for each channel. Oversee execution of merchandising, promotions, order generation, and stock rotation. Manage dealer training and compliance with quality and promotional guidelines.
    • Team Coaching and Development: Coach sales reps to identify sales opportunities and deliver outstanding trade execution. Build executional capabilities through field training, feedback sessions, and performance reviews. Promote a culture of high performance, teamwork, and customer obsession.
    • Planning and Forecasting: Plan and review promotional grids and quarterly action plans. Coordinate with regional team to plan effective route-to-market strategies and customer development activities. Use data (e.g., Nielsen, loyalty insights) to inform strategy and communicate performance with customers and leadership.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through structured and informal engagements. Negotiate space for permanent, promotional, and ad hoc initiatives.
