• Complete Preventative maintenance schedules.

To minimise plant downtime through efficient & effective maintenance.

• Rewiring of electrical machinery with a view to effective improvements.
• Overhaul spare / old machinery to be available when breakdowns occur.

• To efficiently manage stocks of spares & equipment needed to maintain Plant

• Participate in problem solving sessions (RCAs).
• Coach Operators on Quick Fix routines and Autonomous Maintenance
• Participate in FMEAs

• Academic – Matric or equivalent, N3 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanics Trade test  (trade tested Millwright)

Experience

• Function – 3 years working experience working as Millwright, 
• Experience  on Acepak Shrinkwrappers, Universal Pack Sachet filling machines, MV reticulation system, Allen Bradley PLCs/Siemens PLC
• Industry – Experience in FMCG industry desirable.

You are responsible for the establishment and execution of sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFPs) for your respective Indirect team ensuring targeted savings are delivered and supply risks are mitigated. You have a detailed understanding of your commodity characteristics and Tiger Brands’ businesses. You configure and execute (e-)sourcing events and ensure a continuous supply of materials and services that meet the business operational need. You will manage a procurement spend of approx. R400m – R500m. 3 years experience and Diploma in Procurement

• Provide full support to the Procurement Manager in carrying out the defined sourcing strategy (e.g. category analysis, sourcing, negotiation & selection, contracting)
• Understand business requirements and develop a tactical procurement plan for assigned spend with guidance from commodity and Procurement Manager
• Analyze Indirect spend and supply market and derive savings opportunities
• Conduct Tiger Brands RFX processes and support in negotiations with suppliers, business stakeholders and internal clients to select suppliers and draft suitable contracts with service/delivery agreements
• Compile procurement motivations for approval of RFX awards ensuring compliance with Tiger Brands Procurement Policy and Procedures
• Develop, implement and manage supplier contracts with the help of Legal team for assigned spend
• Coordinate the operational linkage with manufacturing sites to ensure that supplier performance levels are monitored and reported
• Integrate with operational procurement to resolve supply issues with suppliers
• Provide budgetary input, quarterly cost forecasts, and ZBM’s to commodity managers for review and signoff
• Maintain Supply Risk registers for specified commodities
• Track and report savings progress to BUs on a monthly basis
• May be required to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
• Negotiation with customers or suppliers over price, contracts or services
• Influences or changes specific administrative or operational practices affecting more than one department/team/BU
• Have extensive end to end strategic sourcing background
• Develop and Implement strategies preferably for the commodities in your area of responsibility
• Conduct group source to contract process for various projects
• Cost optimization: Implement cost control measures and track savings against targets
• Contract Management: Review, Monitor and Track contracts performance
• Supplier Performance and Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance against set KPI’s
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and other commodities
• Stakeholders Collaborations: Communicate sourcing strategies, progress, and outcomes to management.
• Sustainability and Innovation: Promote sustainable sourcing practices and initiatives within the supply chain.
• Influence and change business practices as and when required.
