    Part Time Lecturers X 3 Department Of Computer Systems Engineering

    Key performance areas/Core functions:

    • Preparing all lecture materials, assessments, and related documents
    • Presenting lectures and assessing students in the department
    • Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under subject head, sectional head and HOD supervision.
    • The appointments are for TUT contact period for 2nd semester 2025.
    • Successful applicants only receive a part-time salary according to TUT policy.
    • No additional remuneration for traveling, relocation, etc.
    • Collate and submit course file before and after each semester.
    • Other related additional work as may be assigned by the HOD.

    Minimum requirements:
    Academic qualifications:

    • Master’s in computer systems / Intelligent Industrial Systems/Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering with adequate knowledge in the subjects.
    • NB: Candidates with Advance Diplomas/Honours degrees/ B-Tech degrees / Postgraduate Diplomas can be considered if we do not find enough suitable candidates with Master’s degrees

    Experience

    • 3 years relevant teaching experience and/or 3 years’ experience in industry.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must attend the academic orientation programme designed for a part-time lecturer.
    • Must attend Departmental Curriculum review
    • Registration with professional body (if applicable):

    Lecturer : Department Electrical Engineering

    The Department of Electrical Engineering has a permanent position for a Lecturer in the field of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Clinical Engineering at the Pretoria Campus.
    Critical Performance Areas

    • To present lectures and assessment of students in related subjects.
    • To be an active participant in the research activities of the department especially in the field of Clinical Engineering.

    Experience:

    • Three (3) years of relevant teaching experience in education and/or 3 year experience in industry.
    • Experience in the supervision of students at Master’s level will be an added advantage.
    • A noteworthy contribution to academic/research outputs in accredited journals and peerreviewed conferences.
    • Teaching, research and/or relevant experience in industry would be a strong recommendation.
    • Experience with regards to management of academic matters, quality of programs, student affairs and research projects.
    • Experience in research and monitoring of postgraduate students is recommended.
    • Supervisory experience in industry and/or academic fields will be an strong recommendation
    • Industry liaison and involvement in Centres, Institutes and Technology Stations, will be an added advantage.

    Part-Time Marketing and Projects Coordinator

    • The Tshwane School for Business and Society (TSB) is searching for an innovative Marketing and Projects Coordinator to assist with the Marketing of the TSB and the coordination of Executive Education and other projects in the school. The position is at TSB, Ditsela Place, 1204 Park Street, Hatfield.
    • Six months, and renewable based on performance for another 6 months. It requires a flexible 19 hours per week commitment (Monday to Friday), including in-office engagement.

    Critical Performance Areas

    Marketing & Communication

    • Organising events – Information sessions, TSB awards ceremonies, executive education events, and supporting academics with their suggested webinars.
    • Plan, coordinate, and attend events, meetings, or other activities as requested by the school alumni committee.
    • Managing social media pages, including content design, creation, copywriting, posting, tracking performance, and engaging with followers.
    • Website management and updates (events, vacancies, news articles, etc.)
    • Internal & External communications – Email marketing campaigns, writing and distributing a newsletter, website content creation and management, media communication, public relations, brand positioning, and articles.

    Administrative & Financial

    • Execute project management administrative tasks such as managing invoices and purchase orders, among other financial documents.

    Minimum Requirements
