    • Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP.

    Curriculum Specialist: Business Studies and EMS Curro Head Office

    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

    Qualification

    • Relevant degree with professional teaching qualification.
    • Master’s degree, with school subject management experience would be advantageous.

    Management, planning and design of the overall curriculum development

    • Coordinate and collaboratively manage communities of practice within your subject area to strengthen the subject offering across all our brands.

    Curriculum Design and Development    

    • Ensure that planning of assessments is aligned to all Curro offerings (i.e., CAPS and IEB).
    • Design and implement moderation instruments to ensure standardisation across the brands.

    Monitoring and Evaluation

    • Accountable to the Curriculum Head to collect, analyse and use data to inform, monitor and evaluate planning, pedagogical practices and interventions.
    • Identify positive and challenging trends in the schools’ academic results and engage with schools on how to effectively address the challenges.
    • Monitor the reports from subject leads at schools, engage and give feedback on relevant matters via virtual meeting or during school visits.
    • Focus on moderation especially, if schools require assistance, or input and evaluate where there may be gaps.
    • Visit schools as required and conduct controls to ensure that curriculum is followed at schools.

    Compliance, including quality assurance.

    • Accountable to the Curriculum Heads in supporting schools with compliance to various standardization and regulatory bodies. (i.e., NSC and IEB, and therefore, UMALUSI)
