    Forensic Investigator - JHB - 4 positions

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    • To execute on Forensic assignments with efficiency and the required technical competence

    Key responsibilities:

    • Execute on forensic assignments
    • Collect, preserve and analyse relevant documents, information and data
    • Conduct interviews with witnesses and persons of interest
    • Draft affidavits/ statements
    • Analyse evidence and draw logical conclusions
    • Drafting factual findings reports
    • Project planning and administration
    • Testify in disciplinary and court proceedings

    Forensic Senior Manager - JHB - 4 positions

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    • The individual will be part of Forensic Services of KPMG in South Africa and will be responsible for managing specific roles and responsibilities in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and Cyber Investigations.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Manage cyber investigation and DFIR engagements as per the applicable methodologies.
    • Assist in building pipeline and lead business development activities for DFIR service-line.
    • Coach and develop the team-members to grow their capabilities for responding to cyber incidents.
    • As engagement manager responsible for the quality of deliverables, risk management and financial management.

    Skills and attributes required for the role:

    Skills:

    • Experience in responding to cyber security incidents and investigation of cyber breaches including triage, containment, eradication and broader coordination for the incidents.
    • Knowledge of networks, operating systems (Linux and/or MacOS), databases, static and dynamic malware analysis/reverse engineering; digital forensics and cloud analytics.
    • Working knowledge of IT, networking and cloud environment and be able to extract necessary logs and perform triage based on the nature of the incident.
    • Proficiency in identifying the systems and logs to be analysed considering the nature of the breach.
    • Ability to collaborate, learn and work with cross functional teams.
    • Proficiency in documentation, report writing and documentation.
    • Experience in business development including proposal writing, budgeting etc.

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to adapt, multi-task and work on multiple engagement simultaneously.

    Business Development Associate Director - JHB - 4 positions

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    • An experienced Business Development Associate Director, to focus on one of the firm’s top priority accounts within the Telecommunications sector and to support the lead relationship partners and account teams to drive profitable revenue growth and deliver exceptional client value. This account forms part of our Global Accounts Portfolio and has a significant global footprint. Very mature account with a good support base and significant upside potential.
    • Experience working in the Telecommunications sector, or in a client facing or business development role focused within the broader TMT Sector is highly desirable. Transferable experience across other areas or sectors will also be considered.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Have/Build a deep understanding of the client’s priorities and strategies. Utilise this insight to create demand across multiple service lines.
    • Facilitate and support client touch points and generate new revenue streams.
    • Identify and build new client relationships, while protecting and maturing existing relationships between KPMG and the client to deliver opportunities and profitable growth.
    • Support the lead relationship partner or director in building a high performing Client Service Team.
    • Co-create and implement effective account strategies including relationship mapping, management of opportunity pipeline and generation of investment plans.
    • Bringing discipline, structure and support to account teams through management information, market insight, knowledge sharing and meeting preparation.
    • Working right across the pursuit process to inform, support, challenge and inspire the account team(s) to convert opportunities.

    Skills and attributes required for the role:

    Skills:

    • Experience working in the Telecommunications sector, or in a client facing or sales/ business development role focused on the Telecommunications sector is highly desirable. Transferable experience across other sectors will also be considered.
    • Understanding of best practice account management principles with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives.
    • A proven track record in sales, business development and client relationship management in a highly competitive B2B environment.
    • Strong stakeholder management and experience in working with diverse account teams.
    • Commercial acumen both in terms of managing pipeline and challenging/coaching teams through the sales process.
    • A strong knowledge of a sales methodology and proven experience of driving opportunities through to revenue.
    • Experience of procurement principles is highly desirable

    • Excellent communication skills and gravitas with senior staff stakeholders, as well as demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for complex clients
