    Sports Coach - Head of Rugby

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Lead the rugby program, including 15-man and Sevens rugby, ensuring all teams play a brand of rugby outlined by the Director of Rugby.
    • Ensure coaches are in place for all teams; monitor their skills, player management, and Boksmart qualifications.
    • Recruit and develop players, ensuring teams in U14, U15, 2nd, and 1st age groups are filled.
    • Set up fixtures for the season and coordinate alignment with the school\'s academic/calendar requirements.
    • Manage player conditioning and run preseason rugby fitness.
    • Organize participation in tours and tournaments with the sports department and attend such events.
    • Serve as boys’ strength and conditioning coach for all boys’ sports teams in conjunction with other MICs and coaches.
    • Manage all gym scheduling, maintenance, and work towards developing a high-performance center.
    • Assist with learner recruitment (with a focus on boys) and support sponsorship acquisition and kit procurement.
    • Execute administrative duties, respond to school communications within 24 hours, and ensure professional conduct in punctuality and standards.

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

    • Proven experience in coaching and managing high school rugby and sports programs.
    • Strong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership, team building, and ability to create positive working relationships.
    • Good communication skills, accountable for timely response to emails and messages.
    • Ability to motivate, inspire, and drive high standards of work ethic and attention to detail.
    • Commitment to work flexible hours (early mornings, late afternoons, during tournaments).
    • Boksmart qualification (or willingness to obtain if not held).

    Sports Administrator

    • The Sports Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the high school sports department, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication with all stakeholders while upholding the school’s ethos, values, and vision.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Provide proactive and thorough administrative support for all high school sport functions and operations.
    • Maintain and update the sports calendar, noting changes and communicating updates promptly.
    • Handle event logistics, including catering forms, arranging first aiders, and managing referee and transport liaison.
    • Oversee the procurement of equipment and process finances via Dynamics.
    • Manage tour administration, including processing forms, facilitating communication, and supporting logistics in collaboration with Heads of Sport.
    • Prepare and manage coaching contracts and ensure payroll information for coaches’ hours is accurately processed.
    • Coordinate venue bookings and liaise effectively with external service providers.
    • Organize trophy engraving and the printing of awards certificates.
    • Keep accurate records of district and provincial player achievements for awards and public recognition.
    • Take minutes at awards committee meetings and ensure timely distribution as needed.
    • Facilitate communication of team lists, fixture arrangements, and trial details to parents and staff.
    • Compile and coordinate sport-related magazine content and termly team lists, utilizing pupil response data.
    • Ensure QR codes and digital resources related to sport are kept current.
    • Manage queries, respond to emails and telephone messages within 24 hours.
    • Consistently demonstrate professionalism in punctuality, communication, behaviour, and standards of work.
    • Uphold and actively promote the school’s Christian ethos, values, and vision in all work.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

    • Previous experience as a sports administrator or in a similar role within a school environment is advantageous.
    • Strong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
    • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
    • Proven proficiency in MS Office, e-mail communication, and school-administration software (e.g., Dynamics).
    • Solid professional conduct and commitment to confidentiality.
    • Flexibility and willingness to undertake additional reasonable duties as required by the Head of School.

    Temp Maths Teacher (FET Phase) (Part-Time)

    Key performance areas

    • Perform teaching duties, including planning lessons using modern-day tools and processes, setting up workbooks and measuring academic improvement and achievement
    • Set up, implement, monitor and adjust the term plan as necessary, considering exams, assessments and school activities as well as the need for differentiated learning materials to accommodate barriers to learning
    • Create baseline assessments to assess knowledge levels and based on the assessment outcomes, make recommendations for subject choices/combinations, teaching methods and remedial work/catch-up programmes
    • Plan and manage the classroom, including the assessment roster, classroom design and set-up for optimal performance, disciplinary rules and communication with learners and parents
    • Set up and manage assessments (formal and continuous) and homework, including moderation, revision and supervision
    • Plan and manage extramural activities and outings
    • Provide one-on-one tutoring support and extra lessons

    Qualifications, experience and skills

    • BEd, BA or BSc degree and/or PGCE in FET phase education, with an honours degree in education (in the relevant subject/s) advantageous
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an FET phase teacher  
    • Knowledge of the IEB curriculum
    • Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills  
    • Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills
    • Willing and able to work extended hours and weekends
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • SACE-registered
    • Clear criminal record

    Personal Assistant

    • The Personal Assistant will provide dedicated, high-level administrative and organisational support to the Executive Head, ensuring the seamless management of daily operations and maintaining professional, effective communication with all stakeholders while upholding the school’s ethos, values and strategic vision.

    Key Performance Areas

    Front-office and client service

    • Attend to visitors and manage all walk-in, email, telephone and general enquiries.
