    Security Manager

    Job Description

    • Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Head Office has an opportunity available for a Security Manager to join the team.
    • The role is responsible for the placement of the guards and to ensure the continuous safety and security of all staff and the overall Head Office operations.
    • The role will also assist with the continually monitoring of the facility for compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations

    Essential:

    • Grade 12 – Matric
    • Grade B accreditation with the PSIRA
    • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the retail industry, such as shopping malls and warehouse.

    Advantageous:

    • Previous experience as a Security Manager

    Job Specification:

    • Manage the day-to-day security functions for the facility

    Minimum Requirements:

    Essential:

    Job Description:

    • Assist with the Budget preparation and maintenance within the store.
    • Allocating store funds and defining financial objectives.
    • Maintaining statistical and financial records.
    • Responsible for all banking functions related to the store including making bank deposits, filling change requirements, etc. including all cash held on site.
    • Optimise the store's profitability.
