Network Administrator- mrpIT 

The purpose of this role is to provide technical support for Data Centre Operations involving Microsoft Windows platform which includes operating system, virtualisation, local storage and network. Data Center Operations functions also include racking/decommissioning hardware equipment, supporting and coordination of hardware equipment within the Data Centre, documentation of assets.

What experience we’re looking for?

• Grade 12
• Relevant IT Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Complete Microsoft Certifications (MCSE/MCITP)
• A minimum of 3 years in a technical role (implementation and maintenance).
• Good knowledge of hardware platforms, hypervisor, networking and storage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating system and virtualisation technologies.
• Experience with Installation, upgrade, patching of server hardware and platform software.
• Experience with data backup, data recovery, DR, monitoring implementation, troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization.

Specific Responsibilities include…

• Document installation and configuration standards for the Windows environment.
• Capacity Management and Planning and ensuring scalability of the environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems.
• Maintaining Windows environment through practical and simple maintenance plan.
• Ensure services and data in Windows environment are backed up and fully restorable.
• Test, Plan and deploy hardware microcode and operating systems patches.
• Test, Plan, deploy and upgrade server operating system.
• Work with senior technical support to facilitate analysis of and resolution of technical issues.
• Participate in the engineering of secure operations environment and delivery of mrpIT projects.
• Follow and enforce established change management processes in alignment with ITIL
• Ensure systems administration and documentation are kept up to date to ensure compliance with operational governance.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure planning, building and testing.
• Administration of Active Directory and other IT Systems

The Telesales agent will be responsible for selling financial services products to customers over the telephone. The key focus of this role will include explaining products to prospective customers, closing sales, maintaining good customer relations when dealing with queries relating to products on offer, and meeting daily and monthly sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently contact prospective customers to present information and explain available products.
• Deliver prepared sales talks effectively, reading from a script that describes products, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product.
• Effectively explains products and prices, and answer questions from customers.
• Ensure FAIS and FICA standards are adhered to when dealing with customer calls and correspondence.
• Efficiently updates customer details and communications on Consolidated Debtor System.
• Ensure quality of calls is in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure quality, friendly, consistent interaction when dealing with customers.
• Respond to and action all customer communication.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Full FAIS accreditation and valid RE5 certification would be an advantage
• 12 months experience in sales environment, Insurance sales experience would be advantage
• Knowledge of FAIS, FICA, National Credit Act, all relevant insurance legislation
• Excellent communication skills in English (Written & verbal)
• Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
