    Fuel Distribution Officer x2

    Purpose of Job

    • The role has to ensure that fuel deliveries are executed on time, accurate (in full), comply with quality requirements and conducted in a safe manner to customers throughout the Sasol retail & Commercial network.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Manage the on time and accurate execution of all Fuel Deliveries
    • Ensure reliable (in time and full) deliveries with own fleet
    • Accurate completion of loading instruction (Fuel facs and Renaissance) Conduct
    • Conduct pre-trip inspections and report defects
    • Maintain communication with the Logistics Command Centre in case of deviations.
    • Complete shipments accurately and submit reasons for gains / losses
    • Execute deliveries according to delivery sequence
    • Minimize unproductive time
    • Identify potential operational risks including OHS ACT requirement and report to line manager.
    • Ensure all incidents are reported, logged and participate in the RCA
    • Ensure that there are No Spillages and Contaminations during deliveries
    • Comply with site, operational, and SHERQ procedures

    Formal Education

    Artisan Diesel Mechanic

    Purpose of Job

    • To support the production plants by providing effective maintenance on vehicles and mobile equipment while adhering to procedures/codes and utilising all available support resources to continuously increase stability and availability of equipment by minimizing downtime, improve equipment reliability and support business targets.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards.
    • Carry out planned maintenance activities to Diesel equipment and vehicles.
    • Conduct basic risk assessments on task to be performed.
    • Conduct fault-finding and identify equipment failure modes by applying basic asset management principles.
    • Basic understanding of reliability engineering principles (MTBF, basic failure trending, understand the link between failures and maintenance strategies).
    • Be able to accurately scope parts and services required to conduct equipment / vehicle maintenance as per end user’s request.

    Business Analyst

    Purpose of Job

    • Support and enablement of the Commercial Sales (CS) teams in all portfolios i.e. Commercial M&S and Gas M&S. Take the lead or support the monitoring, analyzing and improving CS business performance. Key activities will include conducting research, interpreting data and making recommendations based on findings leading the analysis, economic modelling, project management/execution support, and market/industry research to support CS’ growth ambitions and performance improvement initiatives.     Maintenance Operator

    Purpose of Job

    • The Fleet Maintenance Operator supports the Fleet Maintenance Team by executing maintenance, inspection, repair, and compliance activities on Dangerous Goods (DG) vehicles, road tankers, trailers, ancillary equipment, and fleet support systems.
