    Social Auxiliary Worker, Ppprev - eThekwini

    Purpose of the position: 

    • This post will provide psychosocial services under the supervision of a social worker within the context of an HIV Priority Populations Prevention programme focusing on adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) and Adolescent boys and young men (ABYM). 
    • Must be available Immediatly 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 or equivalent  
    • Certificate in Social Auxiliary Work from a recognized college or institution
    • Two years training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Cluster Coordinator - eThekwini

    Purpose of the position:  

    • The Cluster Coordinator will lead and manage implementation of interventions at district to cluster/ward level. Ensure effective implementation of peer driven model for mobilization and case management working collaboratively with key stakeholders, government departments and sectors.     Learner Support Agent (LSA), Ppprev _ eThekwini

    Purpose of the position: 

    • The LSA will conduct mobilization and pre-vulnerability screening to identify the vulnerable AGYW and record on the case management register. Provide case management to all AGYW initiated on PrEP to promote continuation in care.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12/TVET college level 2 or Grade 10 with 1 year experience in HIV programmes 
    • Be between the ages of 18-35 years
    • Ability to communicate in English, IsiZulu and other South African languages 
    • Driver’s license would be advantageous
    • HIV Counselling with be advantageous

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Create community awareness on issues affecting the lives of AGYW within their communities
    • Mobilise support for PrEP and PPPrev Programmes
    • Provide their peers with accurate information on HIV and AIDS
    • Educate their peers about their human rights, gender inequality and gender-based violence
    • Conduct mapping, with the guidance of the facilitator, to identify hots spots to mobilise AGYW for HIV prevention

    Peer Educator - eThekwini

    Purpose of the position:

    • To conduct out-reach activities in the sex worker community by providing current accurate health information, mobilisation of SWs to the mobile unit and linkage to care.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 10

    Purpose of the position:

    Purpose of the position:

    • The purpose of the Training Specialist is to promote learning and development, guide and coordinate the skills development function, including managing Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and BBBEE reporting, managing funded projects, intern and learnership projects, securing funding for skills development, providing technical support to internal managers and training staff, and managing compliance of skills development in line with legislation and industry requirements

    Professional Nurse Counsellor_Key Populations - eThekwini, Kzn

    Purpose of Position

    • The Professional Nurse (PN) is responsible for comprehensive, integrated cascade of care, inclusive of diagnosing, treating, monitoring and evaluating communicable and infectious diseases.     Purpose of the position:

    • The Finance Manager will be responsible for overall financial management, audit and compliance, reporting, stakeholder management and staff management. This role focuses primarily on Centres for Disease Control (CDC) projects within the organisation
