    Golf Cart Driver

    Job Description

    • Responsible for safely operating golf carts to transport employees within the office park's premises.
    • This would involve navigating designated routes, ensuring passenger comfort and safety, and adhering to all safety regulations.

    Required outputs: functional

    • Transporting employees within the office park
    • Familiarity with the office park's layout, including designated routes and parking areas
    • Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including safe driving practices, speed limits, and pedestrian crossings
    • Providing friendly and helpful service to passengers, including answering questions and ensuring their comfort.
    • Performing minor maintenance tasks on the golf carts, such as checking tyre pressure, oil levels, and battery status.
    • Communicating effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other staff members via radio or other means.
    • Maintaining the cleanliness of the golf carts, ensuring a pleasant environment for passengers.
    • Keeping records of trips, issues, and any incidents that may occur.
    • Properly parking and storing golf carts in designated areas at the end of the shift or when not in use.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Laboratory Technician x2

    Job Description

    • To provide a timeous analytical service to the companies within the Umbogintwini Industrial Complex (UIC) process plants and to external customers to the required standards of precision, accuracy and output, according to predetermined procedures and methods.

    Required outputs: functional

    • Raw material analysis
    • In-process and final product analysis
    • Reporting of results in the required format timeously as per Sampling, Testing and Reporting (STR) schedules
    • Retention and disposal of samples
    • Carries out investigation and analytical method development
    • Maintain a high standard of safety and good housekeeping and routinely carries out SHE audits
    • Provides supervision of in-service trainee students (mentoring) which includes, but not limited to, projects (from proposal to completion)
    • Submission of data counts for cost recovery
    • Maintain equipment in allocated areas
    • Calibrations and service of testing equipment
    • Preparing of samples to be outsourced to third party Laboratories
    • Initiate non-conformance reports
    • Reporting of near-misses and incidents

    • Perform standby duties in terms of an agreed roster

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (or similar qualification) with at least 3 years practical laboratory experience
    • Knowledge of spectroscopy applications, methods and techniques
    • Computer literacy – MS Office suite
    • Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
    • Safety, Health and Environment aspects and chemical hazard

    S&OP Manager

    Job Description

    • To manage S&OP functions in order to balance supply with demand to ensure availability of products at all times
    • To manage working capital and minimise inventory levels

    Required outputs: functional:

    • Lead, plan and manage the execution of the global S&OP processes for AECI.
    • Ensure a fully integrated demand and supply planning process within the business
    • Collect and prepare all demand data metrics from clusters for S&OP review and present them in S&OP meeting

    Manage and chair monthly S&OP meetings

    • Provide optimal internal and external customer service levels and working capital guidelines of the S&OP process as defined by AECIs company strategy
    • Monitor and report on business forecasting and supply planning performance of involved parties
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to close supply gaps and constraints and ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, scenarios are completed and issues appropriately escalated
    • Manage customer service items to measure and report on service KPIs
    • Support senior AECI management in decision making and reporting.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 6 -8 years of relevant business experience including experience in a managerial position
    • Advanced supply and demand planning knowledge
    • Advanced inventory management knowledge
    • Experience with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Operations
    • Knowledge of Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification
    • Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems and experience with SAP-APO
    • Experience working in a Sales and Operations Planning

    Operations Assistant

    Job Description

    Purpose of the job:

    • To assist with housekeeping activities and charging of blasts.
    • To assist the MMU Controller in managing and operating all aspects of a mobile manufacturing unit (MMU – BLEND truck) in order to meet the customer requirements with the standards and procedures as defined by AECI (OTIF).
    • To Assist the MMU Controller in the carrying out of regular inspections in terms of SABS and World Class on fixed plant and MMUs to identify non-conformances and institute preventative measures as well as to achieve continuous improvement.
    • Assist in all blasting related functions required (for example, measuring holes, closing or stemming of charged holes, guarding, cleaning etc.)
    • Housekeeping at Site
    • Cleanliness of wash bay and truck park
    • Cleanliness of trucks
    • Loading and unloading of products into trucks
    • Assist in charging up duties on the bench
    • Assist in closing or stemming of charged holes.
    • Loading and unloading of packaged explosives and accessories
    • To observe all legal requirements while at the depot
    • To ensure MMU’s are always kept clean according to the World Class Standards
    • Ability to work independently.
    • All blasting related functions as required

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Grade 12
    • Code B driver’s licence

    MMU Controller

    Job Description

    Purpose of the job:

    • To operate, manage and maintain all aspects of a mobile manufacturing unit in order to meet the customers’ requirements within the standards and procedures as defined by AECI.
    • Managing and operating all aspects of a mobile manufacturing unit (MMU) in order to meet the customer requirements with the standards and procedures as defined by AECI.
    • Carry out regular inspections in terms of SABS and World Class on fixed plant and MMU to identify non-conformances and institute preventative measures as well as to achieve continuous improvement.
    • Assist in eliminating all sources of waste and controlling of operating costs within the budgeted parameters.
    • Assist in ensuring that the region delivers on financial requirements as agreed within the annual budget.
    • Assist in closing or stemming of charged holes.
    • Complete minor maintenance on MMU when required.
    • Ensure Quality products are supplied.
    • To maintain vehicle records in the MMU’s.
    • To ensure MMU’s are submitted for services according to maintenance schedules.
    • To ensure monthly maintenance is carried out according to World Class standard.
    • To ensure MMU is kept clean at all times.
    • To assist FSS in ensuring MMU licensing and roadworthiness are always up to date

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Valid Code EC Drivers Licence is essential (please attach a copy of your driver’s licence to your application).
    • The applicants must be able to obtain a Red Ticket and a PrDP.
    • Mechanical aptitude.
    • Must be able to pass Psychomotor assessment
