    Field Service Technician - Refrigeration (KZN)

    The Role

    1x Vacancy In our Natal branch.

    Is you day successful if you can keep the machines running and if customers are satisfied with your work? As a qualified service technician, do you enjoy having a team of colleagues that looks after your daily planning, ensures that you have the correct spare parts required to effectively perform services whilst supporting you remotely when faced with more complex technical issues?

    What we expect of you?

    We are looking for someone that has a related Refrigeration trade with some Millwright or Electrician experience who loves to work autonomously in a diverse company. Do you enjoy travelling to various customers in your dedicated region?  Your day starts from home with a company vehicle fully equipped with safe and rock-solid tools. Do you get energy when learning new things? Our customers have a range of different types of compressors with a variety of technologies ( from mechanical, electronic to Internet of Things and complex control mechanisms) allowing you to grow in techniques and specialisations based on your interests and experience.     Sales Representative Kwazulu Natal

    Mission:

    Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Sales visit to customers at job sites, business offices and institutional account locations to identify and create rental service and sales opportunities.
    • Sales visit on key account administrative and management personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Handle customer service issues in the field and negotiate rental contracts.
    • Handle customer sales objections and the ability to close on a rental deal.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the market conditions (eg. current customers, competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals.
    • Work with Sales and budget forecasts.
    • Conduct productive cold calling and prospecting activities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.
    • Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments.
    • Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.
    • Clear understanding of optimised territory management.
    • Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Excellent verbal and written English & Afrikaans required
    • Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of their duties

    Qualification:

    • Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Engineering/ Business or other Technical or in relevant rental experience
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience in technical solutions selling
    • Confident and a good team player
    • Passionate about Customer satisfaction
    • Computer literate
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Professional in all dealings
    • In possession of a valid and clear driver's licence
