    Sherq Officer

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Nursing degree/diploma, Current South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration mandatory.
    • Infection Control certificate or expert knowledge advantageous.
    • Knowledge of risk management processes advantageous.
    • Expert knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).
    • Demonstrated Clinical expertise and ability to teach and educate all stakeholders to combat disease transmission.
    • Computer proficiency – MS Office, SAP or similar.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform all duties in accordance with South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core

    Standards.

    • Develop and co-ordinate the yearly SHERQ action plan and longer term SHERQ roadmap, prepare monthly reports on progress and present feedback at Group forums.
    • Plan, direct and implement, co-ordinate, maintain and evaluate the effective hospital-wide infection control program consistent with the regulatory requirements and the needs of the Clinix Health Group.
    • Participates in professional development and education activities/programs to ensure excellence in the provision of Infection Prevention and Control Services at the Hospital.
    • Educates and teaches Infection Control to all stakeholders and keeps knowledge current regarding infectious diseases and specializes in the prevention and control of infectious disease outbreaks in a hospital setting.
    • Assist in retaining all current quality accreditations and work towards the attainment of new quality accreditations.
    • Compile relevant reports and progress on all incidents and adverse event investigations and report back to Hospital Management and Head Office with recommendations and timelines.
    • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with overall legislation and COID, including investigations and findings within the prescribed standards.
    • Facilitate all forms of risk assessment eg: general, manual handling, emergency preparedness, fire prevention and in the hospital and provide recommendations.
    • Develop and maintain updated risk register including actions to mitigate risks whilst maintaining accurate reporting and record keeping of all SHERQ and infection control activities.

    Artisan

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • N6 in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
    • Electrical or Millwright Trade test
    • 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a healthcare facility
    • Advantageous: SAFMA and ECA registered
    • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and related legislation
    • Experience should include exposure to HVAC/Airconditioning systems

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    Brand and Media Coordinator

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Diploma in Marketing.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
    • Experience as a customer experience specialist is advantageous.
    • Healthcare experience is critical.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Assist with creating an impact brand that permeates all marketing operations at CHG.
    • Collaborate with the relevant marketing functions to establish success parameters and key performance indicators of activations related to brand and media management.
    • Support personnel in the department with day-to-day marketing administration.
    • Keep promotional material ready by coordinating requirements with different stakeholders, monitoring inventory and placing orders where required.
    • Actively contribute to marketing projects, including content creation for online brand presence and evaluation of the company’s initiatives associated with branding and messaging.
    • Research and maintain data in support of various marketing campaigns.
    • Ensure that branding elements which drive the Group’s messaging are executed per hospital requirements.

    Occupational Therapy Technician

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Qualification in Occupational Therapy Technician
    • HPCSA Registration
    • 2 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist Technician
    • Previous experience in a hospital is advantageous

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Implement individual and group therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
    • Prepare therapy sessions by working with OT's to develop and carry out treatment plans and setting up treatment environments
    • Maintain quality assurance measure within the scope of practice of an OTT
    • Perform various therapeutic and rehabilitative techniques with focus on strengthening, stretching, positioning and stabilization of joints
    • Assist patients with activities of daily living and educate patients, families and caregivers about treatment goals and progress
    • Provide mobility assistance to patients during sessions (i.e. assist patients to move into different positions during therapy sessions)
    • Monitor patients’ progress through evaluation, assessment and reassessments as recommended by the OT
    • Effectively collaborate with OTs and Nurses (where relevant) for integrated care of patients
