Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•  Assist with all warehouse related responsibilities
• Assist with stock taking
• Assist with daily order picking
• Checking of picked orders
• Packing of picked orders
• Stock rotation
• Assist in receiving area
• Assist in dispatching area
• Perform daily general housekeeping
• May be asked to run errands and delivery of orders

 Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12
• Valid driver’s license is non-negotiable

Purpose and Objectives

• To always be visible, friendly and knowledgeable so as to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• To have a positive effect on sales by displaying good customer service interaction and following customer guidelines
• By following stock management processes, monitor and improve stock availability
• Maintain a high store standard by daily housekeeping and merchandising principles
• Maintain high levels of accuracy when dealing with cash as well as to prevent shrinkage and loss
• Always be vigilant and honest in daily activities 

Requirements

Experience and Education:

• Completion of Grade 12, must be fully bilingual
• Must have 4 years plus Retail Cashier/Shop Assistant experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance functions on and around site.
• Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.).
• Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting.
• Undertake light installations.
• Repair equipment.
• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing repairs.
• Undertake duties as assigned by management.
• Identify and report repair needs to management.
• Take responsibility for the upkeep of the garden around the building.
• Maintain general neatness of parking area.
