Purpose:
Support the overall business with digital marketing initiatives to drive digital transformation.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the Digital Team with various campaigns as requested from the different business units.
- Working with a specific creative agency on a dedicated campaign, including:
- Briefing the agency.
- Managing the applicable timelines and outcomes as agreed with the Marketing Team.
- Provide guidance to the agency on relevant content.
- Presenting the campaign for sign-off to the relevant Marketing Team.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure successful outcomes within the Digital space.
- Presentations and workshops to improve the digital maturity of the employees.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- Undergraduate degree in Digital Marketing or equivalent
- Relevant post-grad qualification would be an advantage
- Ideally some previous exposure to Digital and/or Social Media work
- Computer proficiency in MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)

Job Description
The Technical and Business Development Lead role is an exciting opportunity with vast, strategic responsibility within the Animal Health Ruminants Business Unit.
Primary Responsibilities
General
- Participate in setting strategy for Ruminant Business Unit. Participate in Ruminant team meetings providing technical support to realise strategy and maintain sound veterinary principles in all marketing activities.
- Attend and contribute to the following meetings
- Executive Management meetings
- General Management meetings
- Forecast meetings
- Product launch meetings
- Operational Management meetings
- Technical meetings
- Pharmacovigilance meetings
- Personnel management manage team of subordinates and personnel development
Product and Business Development
- Identify product range deficiencies in liaison with marketing team and sales force.
- Identify and source potential new products and broader business opportunities.
- Identify and investigate new business opportunities.
- Do initial feasibility studies in liaison with sales managers and relevant product managers.
- Life Cycle Management driving technical trials required to support in-line products, as well as new products.
Technical services/Training
- Manage provision of technical- and training services by Technical Managers (veterinarians) in respect of the following
- Product training to sales force at sales conferences/ to sales order clerks./customers/farmers’ days/vet days/ to cooperatives and wholesaler sales staff
- Ensure prompt response to product queries and trouble shooting.
- Manage pre-launch and post-launch marketing trials of in-market products.
- Provide technical support to the Feedlot Sales Team, particularly with respect to antibiotic monitoring/TTAs and growth performance enhancers.
- Assist the Pharmaceutical Department in investigating, processing and solving cases of adverse drug reactions to the satisfaction of all parties involved without unnecessary costs.
- Assist Regulatory Affairs Department with regulatory compliance and providing technical support where required.
- Attend congresses, agricultural shows, farmers’ days and product launches, to provide technical assistance to Product- and Sales Managers.
- Initiate field trials, monitor, data collection, collation and provision of data to support registration of new products. Plan, coordinate and participate in field trials.
- Liaise with journalists and relevant authorities to publish technical articles.
- Provide technical support to Product Managers in planning and development of promotional brochures and advertisements.
- Participate in public- and professional appearances and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Liaise with relevant veterinary and agricultural organisations and assist in maintaining registration of veterinary products
- Collect data on market developments, the veterinary industry and developments of competitor companies.
Pharmacovigilance
- This role shall cooperate fully with and provide all reasonable and necessary information and assistance to the pharmacovigilance department in connection with any investigation relating to pharmacovigilance reports.
- As part of the national pharmacovigilance team, the employee will be actively involved in supporting the pharmacovigilance team by ensuring overall compliance from their business unit and maintaining oversight of pharmacovigilance related activities.
Knowledge And Experience Required
- A specialist degree (Master’s Degree) in Veterinary Science with a minimum of five years’ experience in private practice and five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- A minimum of three years’ experience of managing personnel.
- Marketing experience, Research experience and Business management experience would be advantageous.
