Job Description    

• Paarden Eiland is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Representative to drive growth across our large volume of paper bags, labels product line and coldest print. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and maintaining partnerships with our existing customer base. The successful incumbent will report to the Operations Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Achieve sales budget for the product categories.
• Actively source new clients, building new client relationships.
• Service and retain existing clients and develop strong business relationships with decision makers and influencers.
• Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Close deals and oversee the execution of the contracts.
• Display an understanding of the sales process and ensure its implementation.
• Create and be accountable for all client proposals, presentations and any other documentation.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across the Novus Print national footprint in a consultative manner.

Educational Requirements    

• Degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing or related teriary qualification. 
• Valid Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.

Experience Requirements    

• At least five years’ field sales experience.
• Previous work experience within the labels and packaging industry is essential.
• Wet Glue and Wrap around label experience would be highly advantageous. As well as coldest experience would be advantageous.
• National travel is required.

Job Description    

• We are currently seeking to appoint a CMA-qualified financial professional to lead the finance department and manage all finance-related functions, including  taking ownership of all cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing management with the insights needed to make profitable, data-driven decisions. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Generate accurate and complete reports according to management and business needs to support strategic financial decisions
• Develop, implement, and improve new and current product costing models to ensure accurate and reliable cost data across all product lines
• Conduct variance analysis (materials, labour, overheads), explain deviations to management and recommend changes to BOM
• Partner with operations and procurement to track wastage, yield, and efficiency measurements
• Provide cost simulations and profitability analysis for tenders, pricing, and new product development
• Analyse data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, with emphasis on cost control in line with growth strategies
• Manage inventory valuation, WIP reporting, and stock reconciliations, ensuring alignment with IFRS and company policies
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly cost reports, margin analysis, and management insights
• Support operational teams with KPI dashboards and ad-hoc financial analysis
• Work closely with senior and middle leadership to identify cost-saving initiatives and efficiency projects across the business
• Ensure monthly management accounts are accurate and on time
• Lead Finance team through both internal and external Audits
• Prepare and present annual financial budget and quarterly forecasts
• Coordinate projects such as BEE verification that requires collection of data

Educational Requirements    

• CMA qualification (essential)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Experience Requirements    

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• ERP experience in Syspro with advanced Excel skills – added advantage
