Responsible for the Risk Based Inspection Management System. Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling all resources.
Responsible for the plant maintenance and shutdown planning to minimize plant downtime and to ensure reliability.
Ensure plant reliability & availability by minimizing both planned and unplanned downtime through effective maintenance planning and execution, Ensure reliability and availability of plant by carrying out maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
Enforce OHS Act and Air Liquide Safety, Health and Environmental Policy applicable to maintenance activities.
Implement IMS applicable to maintenance activities.
Managing and communicating all technical aspects of the contract with stakeholders
Budgeting and control of maintenance costs including purchases, stock and contractors.
Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the writing of preventive maintenance plans, organize and participate in setting up a spare parts store; identify needs, define safety stock, define storage conditions and location.
Document the preventive and curative maintenance interventions carried out and carry out equipment restart tests.
Diagnose breakdowns on the fleet of production machines within the premises or at our stakeholders. If necessary, contact equipment suppliers for assistance;
Replace faulty equipment components , including in a high pressure environment;
Identify and execute corrective action to minimize the risk of recurrence of failures
Qualification
Bachelors degree (and/or master) in mechanics or industrial maintenance
Interpret Regulatory requirements, Group Industrial Policy, and IMS documents in order to implement and maintain compliant operations
Work with entities and prepare Group Industrial Policy and IMS document implementation plan for Water Technology and update annually
Participate in the AMEI cluster incident review process at the request of reliability team
Lead and/or participate in selected incident investigations
Provide leadership and guidance to drive continuous improvement for Water Technology topics related to process safety
Support the development of selected risk assessments for new and existing assets and in the implementation of subsequent action plans
Support selected local and Group level IMS audits in the cluster as technical auditor for the Water Technology field. Provide technical assistance to address IMS audit findings.
Participate in the Group level working groups developing Group Technical standards in Water Technology field
Design
Approve designs (P&IDs) of new plants for subsidiaries in the capacity of design authority. Review and approve deviations from the Group standards, if any for the domain of Water Technology.
Review and evaluate proposed changes to existing Water Technology plants via Management of Change (MOC) process
In cooperation with E&C, develop standard equipment specification for Water Technology plant equipment.
Ensure subsidiary compliance with directives from Air Liquide Group related to Water Technology
Operations
Provide operations support within the domain of Water Technology
Issue lesson learned to prevent recurrence of incidents
Evaluate new plants one year after startup in conjunction with the Local operations representatives to capitalise on learnings related to new plant designs to Engineering as part of continuous improvement..
Work closely with entity Engineering disciplines to assure latest technology is identified and deployed
When requested, review plant level operating procedures (SOP) for scope, technical accuracy and best practice identification
Be aware of Group initiatives for Water Technology from the Group Industrial Direction, SIS and others. Provide interpretation to entities for implementation and participate in the development of such programs
Provide cluster level leadership for Group programs for Water Technology including developing the implementation plan together with the entities and monitoring compliance status
Training
Building a documented knowledge base of Water Technology operational expertise
Provide technical content for Water Technology training programs
Represent AMEI cluster at the Group level for Water Technology training programs
Mentor and support developing employees to expand knowledge sharing
Efficiency/Improvement
Create and implement a plan to improve energy efficiency annually based on KPI’s.
Prepare annual plan for plant performance evaluations
Recommend process and cost savings improvement opportunities
Track recommendations to assure completion of improvement projects
Monitor efficiency performance in accordance with Air Liquide Group directives
Coordinate Water Technology efficiency programs with those of other Technology disciplines
General
Provide input into AMEI Cluster entities’ Capital Planning Process
Network with experts for Water Technology in other Platforms and AMEI Cluster entity TCL experts for knowledge sharing
