Purpose of the role:

Ensure efficient and on time production output of good quality assembled cylinders and padlocks.

Responsibilities: 

• Communicate and allocate daily production plan to workforce.
• Manage and record production progress per ISO.
• Ensure that FST and other order lead times are achieved.
• Calculate standard times for all processes.
• Measure and manage efficiency of all individuals.
• Do daily order bookings and follow-through to invoice.
• Respond to sales and customer queries.
• Assist PM to manage all material and material locations within the PT department.
• Do all internal system transactions.
• Assist purchasing department to replenish raw materials and components on time.
• Manage housekeeping and 5S in the PT department.
• Aid in the creation of production reports (Eff, OFR, Overdue’s, DPPM) and update visual management aids daily.
• Plan, execute and record weekly perpetual stock verification counts throughout department.
• Manage returns and the necessary transaction to the department.
• Ensure that material losses are minimized, and biannual stock takes are executed.

Qualifications:

• N. Dip (Operations Management, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)

Experience:

• 3 years in production oversight role (Team leader, supervisor or similar)
• 1 year “Make to order” mechanical component assembly.

Purpose of the role:

Ensure efficient and on time production output of good quality metal machined components.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that machines in the PT department are correctly set.
• Ensure that machines are maintained by the tech department.
• Calibrate closing, APS loading and key cutting machines.
• Manage all machine dependent processes to achieve quality levels required.
• Manage the quality of base manufactured components.
• Manage the efficiency of base manufacturing, marking and assembly processes.
• Ensure that SOPs for base manufacturing are in place and comprehensive.
• Control and replenish all cutting tips and broaches used in the PT department.
• Schedule and manage base manufacturing to sustain KANBAN levels.
• Assist production supervision to execute and achieve production targets.
• Ensure that bought out components meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Support the production department with LEAN drive and projects.
• Manage product testing and quality verification stations.
• Ensure that machine housekeeping and 5S standards are achieved.
• Resolve root causes of technical issues that result in NCRs and CRSs

Qualifications:

• Trade qualification (Toolmaker or Fitter)

Experience:

• 3 years in production oversight role (Team leader, supervisor or similar)

• CNC machine operations
• Machine setting and calibration.

Purpose of the role:

Maintenance of product technical standards and information, design improvements and new product design

Responsibilities:

• Do all SolidWorks drawings.
• Maintain drawing register.
• Issue and control transmittal of drawings to internal and external parties
• Drive design improvements to mechanical product and component
• Assist with new product development and innovation.
• Assist with layout drawings.
• Assist with automation projects and robot programing.
• Assist with VAVE projects.
• Support the engineering and maintenance department with all technical matters.
• Support the production department with LEAN drive and projects
• Support with basic control system installations and maintenance.
• Support quality department with technical innovation and process improvement.

Qualifications:

• B. Sc or B. Eng Mechanical (Undergrad NOT B. Tech)
