  • Assistant Export Controller

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Grade 12/ Matric 

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • At least 2 years experience in shipping with export experience preferrably in Seafreight                                
    • Road freight experience an advantage.                              

        
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    1.  Typing CTO's ( order to cash - Transnet)                                

    2.  Typing of EUR.1 Certificates, GSP Form A, Certificate of Origin, SADC certificates (Preparation of Country Required Certificates. )                        

    3.  Typing bill of lading, shipping instructions (on MS Word, MS Excel, and WEB) (E-mail  or submit online the above documents to the various shipping lines)            

    4.  Checking of Bills of Lading and Specifications and printing of these documents.        

    5.  Processing of Cargo Dues                                

    6.  Assist the Client Controller with claims (Manifest correctors, cargo dues) and/or queries in relation to shipment files handled.                              

    7.  Will be required to take on Adhoc shipments which will include adhering to Export shipment process requirements. (handling a shipment from start to finish)                     

    8. Tracking of Export shipments            

    Skills & Competencies:   
    KNOWLEDGE: 

    • Knowledge of export procedures (hazardous and general cargo)
    • Cargowise and OTC (order to cash - Transnet)
    • Knowledge of Export Cargo handling and required documentation for hazardous and non-hazardous carg.
    • Geographical Knowledge

    SKILLS:

    • General computer literacy
    • Attention to details
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Fluent in English command- writing, reading and speaking

    Responsible Pharmacist

    Education:

    • Grade 12 
    • Pharmacy Degree; Registration with SAPC

    Experience:                   

    • Working experience in suitable environment of 3 - 5 years
    • Relevant knowledge of Medicines and Related Substance Control Act (Act 101 of 1965, as amended)                    

    Key Responsibilities:    

    • SAHPRA Compliance
    • Have appropriate qualifications and experience in the services being rendered by such wholesale Pharmacy
    • Ensure that persons employed in such Wholesale Pharmacy provide services forming part of he scope of practice of a pharmacist/pharmacist assistant are appropriately registered with the council
    • Notify the council immediately upon appointment as Responsible Pharmacist and upon receiving knowledge that his/her services as a Responsible Pharmacist have been or will be terminated
    • Take corrective measures including managers in respect of the deficiencies with regard to inspection reports of council or in terms of  the Medicines Control Act
    • Ensure that unauthorized persons do not obtain access to medicines/equipment or scheduled substances of the wholesale Pharmacy premises outside of normal trading hours. Also ensure together with management that a proper processs to be in place to handle medicines and equipment.
    • Approve policies and procedures for the employees of the Wholesale Pharmacy with regard to the Acts performed and services provided in the wholesale , and within the realms of a warehousing facility
    • Ensure that safe and effective storage and keeping of medicines or schedules substances  in the Wholesale Pharmacy under his /her direct personal supervision and that staff and managers abide by thereoff
    • Ensure correct and effective record keeping of the purchase, ordering, picking, batch numbers, and dispatch or dispensing possession and storage and safekeeping and return of medicines or schedules substances
    • To ensure the registration of RP and licensing of the company with authorities, where and if applicable
    • To ensure the name of RP is prominently displayed over the entrance of the Wholesale pharmacy
    • Ensure that all scheduled product complaints are investigated and identified as to the nature of the problem and is given the necessary attention involving QA staff and managers of relative department
    • To ensure that scheduled product complaints are handled in accordance with Standard Operation Procedure, involving management and where required with urgency
    • To supervise all medicines withdrawals or recalls involving management according to the correct procedure
    • To ensure that all batches of medicine and/or equipment distributed are batch traceable in the event of a recall and that all invoices and all pick tickets carry batch numbers where necessary involving management in the process
    • To ensure that rejected goods are handled appropriately and correctly by all staff, and to be responsible for final decision, after consultation with relevant personnel to destroy rejected goods, as and when required.
    • To ensure that pharmaceutical products returned are managed by the appropriate manager  in a  correct manner at the warehousing facility, determining reasons for return and any further action that needs to be actioned, which must then also be recorded, in order to decide the fate of the returned goods
    • To ensure that all employees including management follow the system laid down for using and following Standard Operating Procedures as well as document control

    • Ensure that he/she continuously supervises the Wholesale Pharmacy in which he/she has been appointed and follow up on managers rvising, developing and leading employees in the ORT (cargo drawing) operation

    Operations;

    • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for clients are adhered to
    • Prevent risks and penalties being incurred through implementation of risk mitigation strategies
    • Meeting KPI's with regards to client service levels
    • Suggest improvements regarding warehouse layout and cargo movement towards the improvement and effectiveness, efficiency and quality control

    Workshop Technician

    Qualifications & Experience:    

    • Senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
    • Valid Code 08 Drivers License.
    • +/-2 years experience in Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
    • 5 -10 years experience in similar position/ role.
    • Vehicle Handling experience.
    • Quality Control experience.

    Key Responsibilities:    

    • Quick response to Customer queries and resolving thereof.
    • Order necessary parts from the Parts Department counter or parts warehouse.
    • Report and inspect faults detected other than those that have been presented or other needs for repair/ replacements to the Workshop Supervisor.
    • Quote on all defects on the vehicle, and inform of items which may require attention in the future, including panel outwork and tyres windscreens.
    • Complete of the service schedules attached to job card according to manufacturer’s requirements.
    • Perform test drive to ensure work is completed correctly prior to handing to Workshop Supervisor for final inspection.
    • Repair customer vehicles as per requirement by client.
    • Ensure compliance to good hygiene and housekeeping disciplines within all areas under responsibilities.
    • Ensure only vehicles that have approval to be worked on is parked within the facility.
    • Carry out general maintenance tasks at the workshop.
    • Ensure & maintain high level of Inventory accuracy of all items required for completion of duties.
    • Ensure processes and procedures are followed as per the customer expectation.
    • Report of any incident as and when it happens .
    • Fill job cards.
    • Work extended hours when required,
    • Assist the Supervisor where and when required.

    Skills & Competencies:    

    • Vehicle Handling and Storage.
    • Basic knowledge in the use of dangerous objects .
    • Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnosis.
    • Knowledge in the proper use and tools and equipment, including special tools. Knowledge of basic products (vehicles/services).
    • Stock control .
    • Disassembly/assembly of trim and panels.
    • Workshop administration.
    • Ability to handle stress and to work under pressure.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Be able to read and write in English.
    • Flexible to work overtime if and when required.
    • Team player.
    • Time management skills.
