As a Manager of Construction in FLSmidth’s Mining Professional Services organization, you oversee on-site Construction activities and remote support globally.

• Key focus will be preparing a detailed Construction plan on what is required to construct/install FLSmidth equipment on site.
• The Construction plan should include but is not limited to personal and equipment
• A resource loaded schedule is to be established with resources from both the regional and global organization.
• Detailed costing of whom and what is required is also to be established.
• Quality procedures and requirements to be established and maintained per product group
• Recommend suitable Subcontractors to execute the required site work
• Evaluate subcontractors recommended by clients or internal stakeholders
• Technical support for construction sites e.g. construction sequence, partnering
• Trouble Shooting support to onsite colleagues as well as any other unforeseen events that may occur onsite.
• Definition and implementation of global standards

Experience and Qualification

• Know-how of FLS systems and products
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction
• Technical background and understanding
• Capability to work in global matrix organization

As a Manager of Site supervision in FLSmidth’s Mining Professional Services organization, you oversee on-site Construction activities and remote support globally.

• Key focus will be supervising all site operations to ensure that construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications
• Manage and oversee work sites for all construction, coordinating site activities and assuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives
• Maintain and update work procedures and preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
• Technical support for construction sites e.g. construction sequence, partnering
• Trouble Shooting support to onsite colleagues
• Definition and implementation of global standards
