    Quality Assurance Engineer (Finchoice)

    • We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Intermediate Test Analyst to join our growing team.
    • The ideal candidate will The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of testing experience, including manual testing with complex user interfaces, understanding of testing structure and the STLC process, and familiarity with testing tools like TestRail, BrowserStack, Jira, Swagger, or Postman. The candidate will be able to write SQL scripts. Good communication and good team player. Having a financial or insurance business, automation testing background and AI tools will be an advantage.
    • As an Intermediate Test Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting manual testing on web-based, API, and mobile platforms among others. You should be able to using AI tools to implement test plans, test cases, test execution, reporting and presentations.

    Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role:

    • Conduct manual testing on a web-based, API and mobile platforms, among others.
    • Implementing test plans and test cases, reporting and presentation, etc…
    • Assisting us with building our automated testing on Web base and Mobi base will be an advantage.
    • Conduct testing for specified operational changes, projects, or enhancements when the need arises.
    • Build detailed test cases/scripts from a BRS or FRS when required. (using AI)
    • Identify and investigate areas that require further analysis.
    • Carry out ad-hoc tasks related to the Tester function when requested to do so.
    • Provide regular feedback to the PO/BA and Development team through the agreed channels including reports on defects and problem issues.
    • Ensure that the work is carried out with the quality required and according to the predetermined schedule.
    • Report and escalate defects and problems that occurred during the test process.
    • Attention to detail with strong analytical thinking.
    • Good communication and documentation skills
    • Ability to work independently and within an agile squad.

    A little about who you are

    • A Bachelor’s degree in computer Science/or relevant, IT Degree or related filed
    • ISEB / ISTQB Certification will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years' testing experience 
    • Experience in testing complex user interfaces.
    • Detailed knowledge of manual testing 
    • Experience and understanding of structured test methods and STLC processes.
    • Experience with testing tools like TestRail.
    • Experience with automation testing will be an advantage.
    • Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and the ability to write SQL scripts.
    • Experience with Swagger, Postman to test services.
    • Experience with tools such as Jira, Slack, Browser Stack will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in financial services/fintech environments will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in Loan, Insurance business will be an added advantage.
    • Familiarity working with AI-assisted testing tools

    Junior Sales Manger

    Role Overview

    • The Junior Sales Manager will support the Sales Manager in driving sales performance, developing the sales team, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies.
    • This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong sales experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership.
    • Insurance industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Support & Sales Leadership

    • Assist in supervising and motivating the sales team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
    • Support coaching, onboarding, and training initiatives for sales staff.
    • Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and development support.
    • Help build a positive, high‑performance sales culture.

    Sales Operations & Execution

    • Support the implementation of sales strategies and campaigns.
    • Track performance metrics and prepare basic sales reports for review by senior management.
    • Help coordinate workflow, planning, and target allocation.
    • Assist with complex customer or client queries when necessary.

    Operational Excellence

    • Maintain accurate sales records, dashboards, and documentation.
    • Support processes related to quality management, labour relations, and performance management.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Compliance, Product) to resolve operational issues smoothly.

    Regulatory Compliance

    • Adhere to industry regulations including FAIS, FICA, TCF, and relevant Insurance Acts.
    • Promote compliant, ethical sales behaviour across the team.
    • Maintain awareness of regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to the team.

    Digital Tools & Systems

    • MS Office proficiency (Word & Excel at intermediate level).
    • Exposure to CRM tools or digital sales systems.
    • Ability to work across multiple systems during sales processes.

    Qualification

    • Matric / Grade 12 required

    • FAIS RE5 (Representative) and/or RE1 (Key Individual) – Preferred but not mandatory
    • Leadership programme or course – Advantageous

    Experience & Skills

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales – Insurance preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing staff -
    • Strong management Skills
    • Effective People skills
