     Minimum Requirements:

    • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations.

    Study Manager

    Study Manager

    • An established EPCM firm specialising in Quantity Surveying and Project Management is seeking an experienced Study Manager to join their team in Irene, Centurion.
    • The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing and delivering mining project studies across both underground and surface operations.
    • This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical, commercial, and coordination expertise within the mining sector.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Civil or related discipline).
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the mining industry.
    • Proven experience in both underground and surface mining projects.
    • Demonstrated experience managing Concept, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility studies.
    • Strong knowledge of EPCM project environments.
    • Proficiency in project planning and cost control methodologies.
    • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Professional registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng) will be advantageous.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Study Leadership & Delivery

    • Lead and manage mining project studies (Concept, Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility and Bankable Feasibility Studies).
    • Develop study execution plans, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
    • Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated study outputs.
    • Ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    Technical & Operational Oversight

    • Oversee technical inputs for both underground and surface mining operations.
    • Review and validate engineering designs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, mining regulations, and client specifications.
    • Provide strategic input into mine planning, infrastructure development, and operational readiness.

    Commercial & Stakeholder Management

    • Manage study budgets and monitor cost control.
    • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
    • Prepare and present study reports and executive summaries to stakeholders.
    • Support proposal development and tender submissions where required.

    Governance & Reporting

    • Ensure proper documentation and version control of study deliverables.
    • Maintain quality assurance and risk management processes.
    • Provide regular progress reporting to senior management and clients.
