    Pre-College Certificate Facilitator: Health

    Description

    • The Valenture Institute’s mission is to evolve education – to think outside the classroom and integrate each student’s learning with the causes and challenges they care about. We are seeking a Pre-College Certificate (PCC) Facilitator in the field of Health, Food and Sustainable Development to join our team. The PCC Facilitator is primarily responsible for coordinating lesson preparation, supporting students during the learning process and facilitating online Health, Food and Sustainable Development PCC lessons. The PCC Facilitator should have highly engaging communication and facilitation skills that allow them to inspire young people, be passionate about helping students learn and grow, well organised, detail oriented, and proactive.

    Key areas of responsibility are, but not limited to:

    • Engage with internal stakeholders in the Student Success and Product Departments to ensure the successful presentation of the PCC.
    • Prepare and facilitate online classes with a diverse student body; catering for the needs of learners, possible learning barriers, literacy, language, and culture.
    • Dedicated to helping students to develop a deep understanding and associated skills in the area of Health, Food and Sustainable Development.
    • Employ a variety of teaching and instruction methodologies to individuals and groups of students.
    • Manage student interactions and respond to their learning requirements.
    • Grade and moderate student assignment and project submissions, providing high quality feedback.
    • Provide the Product team with recommendations to improve course offering on an ongoing basis.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Sustainable Development, Development Studies or minimum of 5 years related experience.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Adept in a technological environment.
    • Knowledge of digital learning principles and practices.
    • Basic knowledge on how to troubleshoot technical problems is an advantage.
    • Evidence of effectively working with young people is an advantage.
    • Availability during standard working hours.
    • Must be comfortable working remotely and independently.

    Valenture Institute is seeking to hire a School Partnership Manager (SPM) who is passionate about developing partnerships with relevant Education Businesses and High School leaders to promote our online High Schools and PCCs.

    The School Partnership Manager is primarily responsible for developing and supporting school partnerships that will result in a growing number of High School applications and Pre College Certificate registrations. The School Partnership Manager should have highly engaging communication and marketing skills that allow them to engage easily with business and school leaders.

    Key areas of responsibility are, but not limited to:

    • In collaboration with the General Managers for Online High Schools and Pre College Certificates, develop a School Partnership strategy and plan
    • Network extensively to generate School Partnership leads that result in an increase in applications for the Online High Schools, and registrations for Pre College Certificates
    • Develop School Partnerships with signed contracts and revenue share agreements in place, for Pre College Certificates
    • Provide support to School Partners in promoting Online High Schools, Pre- College Certificates
    • Build strong relationships with Education Business leaders and School Leaders

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 8 years work experience.
    • Preferable: experience in sales and marketing.
    • Preferable: Education and educational institution experience.
    • Preferable: Relationship management work experience.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

    Community Manager

    Description

    • Valenture Institute’s Community Manager is the person responsible for all social media management across Valenture Institute’s partner verticals. This includes content planning across all social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and other relevant channels, as well as communications with PR agencies and content creation.
    • If you are a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional, we would love to meet you! We are expecting you to be experienced in social media management and PR, as well as an exceptional writer and communicator.

    Community Manager duties and responsibilities

    • Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
