    Ostomy and Advanced Wound Care Clinical Educator (Coastal)

    Key Job Outputs:

    • Maintain professional credentials and education to maintain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.
    • Support in-hospital ostomy care & wound care in conjunction with employed hospital staff.
    • Set up new ostomy & wound care protocols for follow up visits for end users.
    • Deliver education programs to a diverse group of internal and external customers and end users to drive better outcomes and improve care
    • Report back to senior leadership key clinical learnings and opportunities.
    • The Ostomy & Wound Care educator provides clinical and operational support in the delivery of patient care in a hospital setting or clinical environment
    • Responsible for training physicians/clinicians/nurses on, procedures, protocols and product use
    • Assists with front office operations including, but not limited to, billing, invoicing, scheduling, tracking of procedures, reporting, and funder approvals.

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree
    • Experience in Ostomy and wound care medical industry
    • +2 years’ experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
    • Pre-existing key stakeholder relations preferred.
    • Domestic travel required
    • Own Reliable Transfer
